    The isolated upper harmonic edit really helped.

    Before discovering this channel, my range was C#2-F#4 (chest), G4-C#6(Head) and D6-Bb6(whistle). Now C#2-G#4 (chest), I start mixing from A4 to A5. Head voice and whistle range are the same. Learning to mix helped me with my chest voice as well. Singing Ed Sheeran's 'perfect' used to be very taxing on my vocal chords but now it's become very relaxed. Thanks again.

    Still cannot get this... I have been having the tendency to always come back to the old habits (pushing too much chest in my high notes) which doesn't seem to fix... I can get the really high notes and the low ones, and the middle ones I have the tendency to sing it with too much chest, which ends up straining my voice. It's just such frustrating to not get this after many years of practicing this....

    Oh my gosh! I watched this video about 50 times, and only now I realize what buzzing-noise you're talking about. I actually disliked this buzzing noise within my own voice and thought it's due to vocal fatigue. But no, it's actually a good thing, and helpful in persuing my mixed voice :D Thanks alot Tyler!

    I just figured out I can pull my headvoice with a bit chest.. I sang something in pure headvoice, somewhat low in volume, but I engaged more of my core with volume and entered something else, it felt kinda different, almost like I had no controll compared to this other technique I have to bridge my break

    I never know what to Use at C5 bc my break is like A5-C5 (Like I can feel my mixed wanting to come out there for sure at Bb5 ) In mariachi music like for example the song amor eterno - Rocio durcal. The highest note is C5 but I’m like merp on there. it’s also an ugly vowel. Like above a C5 im like Mix let’s goooooo, but songs like that or poppy songs around there especially regional mexican im like brain farting. Any videos you recommend?

    It's too hard for me to sing g4(which is my passagio note).

  • @mrmcgreg

    Yes, I can sing c#5 easily without a warm up, but whenever I sing a melody that goes from say B4 to F4 or say srom A4 to F#4 my voice gets all shaky, strained, I get extreme vocalists distortion and I get extremely tired after 1 minute of trying to struggle through this by overcompensating in all the wrong areas.
    Hope this video helps, I'll definitely let you know.

    I can already mix but when I sing i still pull my chest voice. I keep on forgetting to use my mix when singing, it's like embedded in me to hit notes using chest.

    Do you want that buzzing resonance in every word your sing?

    • @tylerwysong
      @tylerwysong  Год назад +2

      Yes! But it changes slightly as you change pitch.

    Tyler what’s the mechanism or theory behind the trick of listening the upper harmonic and the imaginary h. This is super interesting!

  • @hilariallred65
    @hilariallred65 2 года назад

    I hear an ever so slight nasal in your a, like in the French word “vin.” Nearly imperceptible but helps resonance. Is that correct?

  • @vincentchen5341
    @vincentchen5341 2 года назад

    The first bridge is always the most difficult range to sing, because singers need to sing this range in different intensities.

    Thank you so much! Both for the information and the deeply encouraging motivation at the end. Basically I learnt I've got to start mixing earlier at C4, instead of later at E4.
    To anyone who sees this; please, we are not of our own; even the voices we're trying to develop, and let's continue, whilst knowing that they are not our own! Jesus Christ is coming soon. Hello coach Tyler! I can sing through my break but my voice keeps slipping into head voice, I don't know if my voice is too weak or there's some unnecessary tension, do you have an exercise focusing on this problem?
