More About Will Freidle: William Alan Friedle is an American actor, writer and comedian. He is best known for his comedic roles, most notably the underachieving elder brother Eric Matthews on the long-running TV sitcom Boy Meets World from 1993 to 2000. More recently, he has voiced a number of animated characters such as Terry McGinnis/Batman, the title character of Batman Beyond, and Ron Stoppable of Kim Possible. He voices Deadpool in Ultimate Spider-Man and Star-Lord in the animated version of Guardians of the Galaxy, replacing Chris Cox. He also performed the voices of Doyle in The Secret Saturdays, Lion-O in the rebooted ThunderCats series, and Blue Beetle on Batman: The Brave and the Bold. One of his most recent roles has been the speaking voice of Bumblebee in the final episode of Transformers: Prime and the movie Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising and in the stand-alone sequel series Transformers: Robots in Disguise, as well as in Transformers: Rescue Bots.

Have you seen the Girl Meets World yet?
For Eric, as moving as that moment was, that wasn't the most emotional one for me. The one that moved me, and that I still remember by memory was in 1998 with the episode "Things Change" and Eric says to Mr. Feeny who is about to retire and leave for Wyoming while the closing music hits in the background, "Mr. Feeny, if I'm really really quiet, will you stay?" That got me as a 12 year old watching that.
@TheDestroyer2alltrolls unfortunately they tried way to hard to be funny, while boy meets world got better and better, and it was organic.

Will Friedle gets ignored too often. He easily belongs on a list of some of the greatest improvs of comedy shows. A lot of his lines, noises he made, mannerisms, and just random things were things that were not scripted. That was just Will being Will. His comedic timing was fantastic and he was really the main reason I enjoyed the later seasons. Seasons 1-5 were all Cory and Shawn but 6 & 7, Eric was the main reason to watch, without a doubt

Definitely agree. In the later seasons Amy and Alan kind of like jokes that they didnt really care for Eric and I was like why. I mean he was so sweet and the episode of plays with squirrels where he tries to fix everyone's relationships, like he was so caring. And obviously he was hilarious too. Like he just had everything.
Eric was my favorite character back then.

Can I just say the fact that William Daniels and Bonnie Bartlett have been married since 1951 is amazing in this day and age.

Even thought the interviewer was horrible. I like how everyone got more comfortable the deeper they got into the interview, their chemistry is still the same if not more and it really warms my heart.
I swear Daneille’s personality is togpanga to a T. She was playing herself and I love it.
William Daniels still feels like he lives that Feeny character in real life lol its like the exact same guy.
That sorta IS him. So was his St. Elsewhere role. He's spoke about that before in interviews.

I wish girl meets world got renewed on Netflix. That show had so much potential but got ruined by Disney
Yeah, you could really feel the conflict between the creator and Disney. It had a lot of good Boy Meets World-like moments, but way too much like every other Disney sitcom. From the beginning, I knew it was a bad idea to have it there rather than something like Freeform or of course, Netflix.

Except I treated every friend I ever had like they were shawn and I was cory. Also treated my highschool girlfriend like topanga. So imagine getting broken up with for another guy and my best friend getting arrested and getting into drugs. Like "Heyyyyy wait a minute, this didn't happen in boy meets world! I don't know what to do!"

Us 90's kids will always love and appreciate Boy Meets World. Mr. Feeny was more of a teacher to me than any of my other real teachers. I think everyone wanted wanted a love and relationship like Cory and Topanga had.

The halloween horror movie episode was my favorite
my favorite episode would have to be when Stuart comes back after being gone and after turners accident and Cory,shawn, and Stuart talk about "The other part of the school" and everyone that disappeared was over there lmao
my father worked in a restaurant in Montecito cali and he always served mr daniels. he told us one day to go with my older sister because mr. daniels said he wanted to meet us cause we were huge fans of the show. we went on the bus so excited, but he never showed up. he knew and send us an autograph photo with our names which our parents still have till this day. this was in the early 2000s
Boy Meets World what a classic golden age era of TV that I grew up in I'm so glad Disney plus has it.

My sister is a teacher and about a year ago her class was talking about Girl Meets World and how much they liked the show. At one point, my sister interrupted them and said "Well, I watched Boy Meets World when I was young!" The kids seemed confused and said "What's that?"
When she told me about it, I felt old....and at the same time, sad for the kids in her class.

It had good storylines and nice guest stars such as Olivia Hussey, Annette O' Toole, Michael McKean, Brittany Murphy, Kristanna Loken, one of the actresses from the Golden Girls playing Alan Matthew's mom in the first season of Boy Meets World. Also Rider Strong guest starred in one episode of Batman Beyond.

This show was my life growing up.
The cast or Rider Strong can say the show wasn't a huge hit, but I've seen the pilot, first episode, in 1993 and I was hooked instantly. I'm sure there were many ppl in the world watching as well. So, SHUT IT RIDER STRONG AND LET ME LOVE SHAWN HUNTER FOREVER.
