Re: guys & girls being friends, I honestly think the context of all friends of the opposite sex need to change as you get married. Discuss what the new boundaries are with friends of the opposite sex prior to getting married. I also don't agree with your spouse having a 'bestie' of the opposite sex (that aint you), I think if your spouse has a valid concern about how close you are with your friends of the opposite sex, respect would dictate that you take it upon yourself to adjust how you interact with those friends - even if you don't understand, it may not be so much a matter of trust as it is your spouse helping you to guard your marriage. I remember I had a close guy friend & feeling very uncomfortable with our friendship interaction when he got into a relationship, so much so I ended the friendship after bringing up the issue with him and he not paying no mind... I did it out of respect for his gf (now wife). I also thought about if I would be comfortable if I had a bf who did that and thought it would be a beneficial seed to sow.
Extreme to some, but - shun the apparence of evil.

I do feel that the man is to love his wife more than she loves him. The Lord instructed husbands to " love their wives as Christ loves the Church and gave His life for it". Wives were given the instruction to submit to their husbands. If a husband loves his wife as Christ loves the Church, that is DEEP and ABIDING LOVE. He should be willing to sacrifice for her. Christ knows that women are nurturers by nature and they are loving. So love comes more easily for us. But which woman would not be willing to submit to a man who loves her so deeply? A few may not but for the majority we would definitely be more submissive to that type of man.
That's how I see it to Renee , especially if you're a true woman of God who really yearns after righteousness and at base line you really like your partner lol. -Z

I am happy to view this tonight. Question: with being able to agree to disagree does it has measures or areas off limits? Is it okay for husband and wife to agree to disagree on matters threatening the core of their marriage due to business decisions or such?
Hhhm... that's a really good question. Fundamentally, they don't necessarily have to see eye to eye on most things, but there are some critical things that must be agreed on. Once the thing is big enough to threaten the core of the marriage, you certainly need to agree on it. If still unable to reach an amicable agreement, I think that's where a third party (like a trained counsellor) would come in

On taking breaks in the relationship, how is it different in marriage ? If there is need to take breaks during the relationship then shouldn’t they be taken during the marriage? What has changed in a marriage set up ? Same people, same circumstances, same God . Please help me understand
Marriage is a covenant before God . Dating relationships are not. There is no obligation to stay In marriage, the commitment is life long and unless there are dire circumstances where breaks are necessary and it’s the best move for the marriage we don’t recommend just getting uk and “taking breaks”

To be honest xaundre with human beings love kind a ish can be quantified and this arise based on the concept of how far a partner is willing to go for his loved one in any event because of course love is defined by actions. So this is my opinion 1.) you have persons male/female that will love there partners to the point that they will take the last clothes off there backs and walk through a snow storm for their partner meaning the partner will go above and beyond for the person they love while some partners who would not think it twice.
you have partners whose love is based on conditions for example a man has a wife who is beautiful in features and his completely submissive to him but it so happens that the wife can't bear children so after countless attempts she fail to conceive then that husband who made that vow to love his wife until death decides to leave his wife because she can't have children. I don't know if u get what I am saying or is it that I'm referencing to something else.
Point is for me I believe love is how far you would go for your partner in any event. So for me only God love can't be quantified because he chose to die on the cross for us without second guessing it but with man I truly believe it can be quantified and its based on circumstances.

Oh certainly! That's definitely something they need to talk about because although it's kinda nuanced depending on the particular relationship... boundaries definitely need to be set
