You know a game is good when the battle themes stop sounding like battle themes.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about The Weight of Life not being used more often in the game, which I can understand, it's a great song, but what many people aren't aware of is that many themes have sections in them that are variations of sections from The Weight of Life. This theme is one of them. In some way, you hear that song all the time without fully realizing it.
The next video will be another hidden gem from a Beatmania game, right after that will follow one of the most emotional cutscene themes from Xenoblade 3.

I can understand Chain Attack theme overwriting some themes
...but there are others it really shouldnt...

Definitely one of my favorite themes in the game, especially when it starts kicking in when he gets all ready to go super speed mode during the cutscene and it transitions into the battle from the cutscene, and an incredible cover as always!

This song is extemely emotional and I can't help but feel bad for how N turned out. People say that XC3 villains are badly written but I think not! It's always Moebin' Time!
Yeah, N's writing was definitely on another level compared to the other villains. Still, the villains that people including me criticize are all the villains except for N/M because they don't have any kind of real motivation, they were evil because why not. N/M were different

I feel like the other Moebius were there to fill in the gaps but Consul T, M, N, X, Y, and Z were the stars of the show. Another thing I noticed was that there was no Consul A which is strange.
Some moebius are actually pretty deep such as I. But in general the Moebius simply are meant to potray the perverted, sick and twisted view of humans with power who do the same thing, darkest desires, without consequences for thousands of years straight. And even before N was born multiple thousand years this cycle was ongoing. The Cutscene where M tells V to let the Homecoming happen is literally called the very first homecoming (at least in German). Afterwards even more years have passed. The moebius, except very few like I and T, cannot think different than how they're potrayed. While they are incredible cartoonish and bad on one hand it only shows how terrible a person can become if it never grows and is in posession of such powers.
Xenoblade 3 is a phylosophical tale before anything else. And as such certain aspects can be seen in many different ways. Moebius are supposed to be hated both for what they do and for being such terrible stupid childish persons.
honestly i feel its because xc3 story was so big it really can't fit in the 18 hours of cutscenes there is

You've covered this SO WELL AQARE - the dynamics imbue (hehe) emotions into this song so well, and it's played so clean!! This cover definitely does it justice. There isn't a single thing I'd want improved~
The left-hand sequence starting at 0:27 seems kinda simple (never seen the middle of 3 notes used like that before), but it actually sounds REALLY GOOD
I really like the subtle right-hand sequences at 0:42 (how the 2 instances are similar but the first time is just slightly quicker than the second), and at at 1:42
Although they aren't the main attraction of the song, I really like the off-set melodies at 1:54 and 4:27, dunno why
Also like how you've matched the visuals to "that" location, definitely adds to the vibe of this cover.

xeno 3 has got to be one of the most emotional games i've ever played. it broke me mentally and emotionally on several occasions. even the music breaks me because you can literally feel the emotions from it. what an amazing game!

The Interruption of the Chain attack music is really tragic. Hope they fix in an option to disable the interruption on boss themes

But you're right, it is really rare for a battle theme to sound that way. I heard like half the piece and didn't even realize it was one until I read the pinned comment

How do you do those crazy left hand jumps? And how would you recommend I arrange it to avoid them if I try to play this, since I’m not quite that fast?
The thing is that I primarily built them in because in order for the song to sound like that, there is no way to play all voices and avoid those arpeggios at the same time. The speed is a matter of practice and experience, it'll come from its own when doing such leaps very often.
The best possible way is to still play the arpeggios here the way they are but slower and in some cases leaving out some notes before them, or the only other choice is to only play the lower two notes that represent the bass. That will also sound okay in some cases, but in other cases a bit empty.

Hi Nakix! I played the piano for 18 years now (since I was 6) and needed about 8-9 to get on this level.
sound better in the game for some reason. I guess it's just their mixing or editing.
I'm not saying yours is bad, I'm just saying they are both good and i prefer the game.
