I am thankful for the renewed interest in this video. Like many users here I have realized that when I made this video 2 years ago I missed a few games. Specifically: 2003 - Flight of the Falcon 2015 - Disney Infinity 3.0
I came here because of Squadrons. Been playing it in VR and it's aaaaaalmost there, I just want some of the tentpole moments playable and then I'll be good. Your video came up because it was the best (if not only) one to show what I was looking for - that is, all instances of the tunnel run! So, thanks again!
There was also a side-scroll trench run in one of those tv plug-and-play games from back in the day. This video has some gameplay of it: ruclips.net/video/HtV2jkl02H4/видео.html
I think it was a few years ago, my mom got me star wars battlefront renegade squadron for my psp, was one of my most favorite games to play, I used to try and reenact the death star trench run by flying an X-wing between the star destroyers too and bottom part
Ah yes, the days of yore when we actually had to use our imaginations, I dug a faithful recreation of beggar’s canyon from rebel assault in my backyard and spent many days getting sun burnt under the twin suns of Tatooine.

this makes me excited for Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga (because aerial combat has been changed so much in the Force Awakens that it felt like star wars battlefront)

Thank you for bringing back my nostalgia of my star wars gaming on my psp, sadly, I do t think it will work again, but thank you for bringing back my nostalgia
I know they made a Lego Star Wars game for Star Wars Episode 7:The Force Awakens I hope they do the same for The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker somewhere along the line because those would be awesome games to play.
Super RotJ. It's a Saturday at like 11pm I'm on the couch I'm 8 years old my eyes are watering from how brutal it was to stare at that screen. I made it out. And beat the game. I celebrated with a squeeze it drink and some dunkaroos. Life was good.
All that's missing is the Millenium Falcon ride at disney lol, basically a 6 player co-op game/simulator. Not the Death Star 2 technically but it's a great contrast to the first arcade version as a show of how far technology's come
I used to play that first game in the arcade when I was about 8-10 years old in the mid 80s it was brilliant for its time as it had everything from the forest speeder bike chase to the millennium falcon run you show at the very start of this video and its probably the only game I have played on this video.
There is also a Death Star 2 trench run in Star Wars Blaster Strike, an original trilogy plug and play light gun game. Most of the levels are good, but the trench is pretty bad.
Rogue Leader did it best in my opinion. Perfect balance between fun playability and insane skill one would need to make that run for real....especially when done in cockpit view. Still looks great today, too.
One thing that always been bothered me and I just can't find no answers to online is this - Why didn't the Tie Inceptors continue vollying the Falcon with Blaster fires? Or did it have something to do with the Falcon pulsing a countermeasure the prevents the IC from firing?
