Being able to eat breakfast with an ocean view has to be the most peaceful and relaxing thing!! The pool area is extremely crowded; not sure how much I would enjoy that lol. I love that they have all kinds of activities like the trivia and bingo! Formal night is one of the reasons I've wanted to cruise; just having a reason to dress up (I can't explain it lol). My sister told me I'm imagining a ball and I probably am 😂!
The breakfast overlooking the Ocean is such a treat! Honestly, nothing like it when you're in those crystal clear waters. The pool (specifically the ones on the main deck) are typically pretty crowded. HOWEVER! There's an adult area that is almost NEVER crowded, and that's a great option to not be around all the hustle and still get to soak up the sun haha. They have so many activities, and we didn't even cover probably 90% of them! Just all day they have stuff going on, you get to choose whatever you want to do, it's awesome. Formal night is always super fun, getting to bust out all of the clothes and outfits that we don't typically wear is a ton of fun!
That's definitely not right regarding the bingo game. They should definitely note the times for people to better allow people to plan better. I've never done on-board massage - I've always thought they were on the pricey side. Your friend John is correct - I never take the elevator - it definitely helps taking the stairs! 🤣🤣 Don't forget to check out their gym - its usually pretty good. The only downside is the hard sell on hiring a trainer, you just have to keep saying no. That Aqua show looked pretty good! Great vid as always. Be well.
Right?! I'm like you know... it would make more sense to just put all the information at one spot in the app like that. But oh well, we live and we learn! Haha. I do feel like the on-board massages/spas are WAY pricier than just about anything you could do on land, even at the nicer ones. Still not sure if it was "worth it" totally haha. 😅 It was a gift from family, though, so I think that was nice. I think the gym is actually quite nice! They did the Spa giveaway in there first thing, and I feel like they were doing a lot of shilling for their products, so I could see you having to swat away the upcharge options around. I actually just started working out again thanks to Dev. I've been struggling to get back into things, and he's helped kind of get me interested again. I REALLYYYY want to see that Icon of the Seas aqua show in person, it looks so dang good! This one was a lot of fun, I remembered a good amount of it from Oasis, though, or they were similar enough. But the one on Icon looks COMPLETELY different. Maybe we'll book that in the future at some point when the prices come back down 🙃
Forgive me if I’m incorrect, but on the first video for day one, didn’t you show that you were in a room that was overlooking the promenade like fairly close to the ground level of the promenade and look to have a room facing the water? Did y’all get moved?
@@Dillon.Thomas dude so I went back after finishing episode 2, crazy show at the end and OMG yea they fell to sleep on you and ouch at the cost of the massage but it’s a cruise so I’d kind of expect it. Then I finished episode 1 and saw the surprise 😮
@GoofyGuy-WDW ya, it's pretty hefty for what you get. But now we know haha. I'm also a sucker for those ocean view balconies. After you do it once, it's hard to go back haha.
