We just did the NCL joy brand new thermal suite. It was really nice and very big. Had the hot stone loungers, salt room, sauna, steam room, hot tub, cold plunge, ice room, various showers and meditation loungers. Nice views as well.
Thank you for the video! While I didn’t enjoy NCL as much as RCCL, I LOVED their thermal spa on the Escape. I’ll cruise Virgin next but will skip the spa experience. Hope they make changes to their scheduling system!
The Disney Dream class has the best in my opinion. Theyve got the heated loungers and the immersive showers. The dream class has the 2 person thermal hydrotherapy hot tubs where you lay down. It also have 3 saunas. One is a dry sauna, one is called the calderium which is a wet sauna with 100% humidity and they pump in essential oils and it is so strong and clears out your sinuses. The 3rd is called the hamam and its a midde eastern sauna that feels like an oven. You can just also get day passes and those I think are around $40 per person.
After experiencing the Thermal Suite on Norwegian, I will never cruise without one again! FYI, Norwegian is doing away with the Spa Cabins… you have to purchase the Thermal Suite AFTER you board, so no guarantee. Princess allows you to purchase when booking!
NCL does have some nice thermal spas. It’s a nice little upgrade without paying for the Haven. It’s too bad you can’t purchase the passes before sailing.
Yes the NCL policy change is so upsetting to us as we always booked spa rooms and now it's a free for all. We booked a cruise that already is sold out of them and now we are looking to cancel it just for that reason.
The spa on Virgin Scarlett Lady was disappointing. 2 feet of water in both jacuzzi and cold plunges limited to one person at a time. It was also hard to get in and out of.🤣
We love the Breakaway Class of Thermal Suite. We recently sailed on the NCL Jade, and looked the Thermal Suite for the 9 Day cruise. We couldn't believe it...the thermal pool was not operating, and never did the entire cruise! I was beyond livid, as they kept saying that it would be repaired. After a lot of following up with guest services and complaining, we did get a complete refund for $450 for a future cruise credit. I will never sale the Jewel class again. The only good thing was that there were two pools on the Lido deck.
Thanks for this content, I've been looking for info about Thermal Spas , where going on Celebrity Ascent and from what I'm seeing Ya , no Thermal Hot Tub , only water is the showers. the cost I believe is about $220 week or someone posted $69 per day , pretty pricey for no hot tub. I wish you had mentioned all the prices, I'll check out your other video on that subject, Thanks.
MSC has the best thermal spas and they are not expensive for the full pass. Aside from the Divina all of them have a therapy pool. Carnival seems to have some good ones on there ship too. I've found Royal doesn't really do thermal areas at all its just saunas.
I bought thermal spa passes on Carnival Panorama and it was always so crowded we couldn't use them, complete waste of money. Scheduling time slots would fix that. I'll never buy one again.
I really enjoyed the hot stone beds on the NCL and celebrity cruise lines. Very relaxing.
Yes we absolutely agree! It was a great way to relax and enjoy the views. Thanks for watching and commenting.
As always, great, useful insights, particularly booking on a port day. No surprise that Disney's is really well done.
It is a great way to relax after exploring a port. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I have to say that I have really enjoyed your cruising videos. We have never been so still trying to learn. HAHAHA. LIKE 31. 👍👍👍
Thank you 😊 there are so many cruise lines and cruise ships to choose from it can be hard to pick.

NLC hands down they set the bar for us, also MSC has a fairly decent thermo spa also

NCL Escape's thermal suite was amazing
Wow- some of the thermal spas looked so nice and relaxing- I love going to the thermal spas❤

How about Holland America?

Breakaway was awesome
We were really impressed.
I have been on some great thermal spas on Carnival and almost nonexistent thermal spas on Royal Caribbean.
You need to try the thermal spa on MSC, they know how to do a thermal spa, it is the best
Does Princess have thermal spas?
For me, Viking and NCL have the best thermal spas. Viking has a cold plunge while NCL has a neck/shoulder massage in their thermal pool.
Thanks ❤
Thank you for watching and commenting 🤗
Some Princess Ships have very nice thermal suits. You did not mention them!
Thanks that is a good point!!! We could do a video just about Princess ones.
The spa on Virgin Scarlett Lady was disappointing. 2 feet of water in both jacuzzi and cold plunges limited to one person at a time. It was also hard to get in and out of.🤣
The white chairs in the Virgin spa do not look comfortable at all!
I completely agree! With the 3 hours limit it feels like you come in enjoy the steam room, plunge pools and then get out lol

Why no Princess?

The therapy pools are nice :) we will have to try MSC soon. Thanks for watching and commenting.
NCL Escape was fantastic, NCL Jade, not so much.

The one on the Panorama was pathetic
