That hilltop that the old homesite was built on was probably an ancient Indian homesite at one time and if I was you guys I'd do some digging right on top of that hill. Back when I lived in Texas and was artifact hunting I'd look for those small isolated hills and especially if they were near a creek or river. They were no doubt in that area y'all are digging on and I bet they had a homesite on top of that hill.

I need a soil/bottle probe. Anyone know where I could get one? I need one that is made out of spring steel, with a carbon steel tip, and is welded. I don't have anyway to weld nor do I know of anyone at the moment. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@@ZachByrd , there is not a single video of yours that does not invoke fond memories of your family. I am also transfixed by your channel's relatively recent and very competent focus on Native American stone artifacts. I have a small found collection as well that documents the use of fossilized material in the making of tools. Very exciting. Forever yours, Will.

Im absolutely fascinated by Native American history. Have been my whole life. I'm just glad Jason and I figured out a productive and efficient way to find these artifacts.
