I had the v1 and now the v2. I've already made all the experiences myself and I know how both of them drive. and yet I'm always happy about a black carve video. keep it up
no that's all right what you say. the v1 is a little bit faster with the 40t. I also installed the 40t on my v2 and it's still a little bit slower. but this is due to the 15t motor pulley in the v2. yesterday with 40t and 105 cloudwheels after 23km (14.3miles) just lost the second dash. i weigh 85 kilos (187lbs) with clothes on. in the future I will only drive with the 115 rubber wheels because my buddy doesn’t get that far with the v1 anyway 😂

Thx for this comparison! I ordered the bc2 couple of weeks ago, looking forward to mid May for delivery. Took the bc2 cause of the longer deck and more range.
Absolutely loving my BC2. Great video. Also I can’t decide if the blue or purple clouds look better. They both look so good. Range on this board is insane. I went for a 15 mile ride yesterday on the 105 clouds and only burned 2 bars of battery. I should get 35 miles on a charge easy. Love this board!
So glad to hear. Keep us posted as you put more miles on it. Good and bad. But I am with you, love the v2. Just the distance of the board is such a huge improvement. Thanks for the comment and as always the support.
as always very informative. Even my friends are watching your videos now. Motors bigger on version 2 and height is the same also 50% more range (on version2). This would be already enough info right there for m: Vrs 2!
Thanks once again for the comment and support. I am with you, just the range alone is enough for me. I really appericate the additional support bud and wish you the best of luck.
My man you did it again great honest review. I think I made a decision I was going to go with the Eovan or Challenger, but when it came down to a piece of mind I had to think very very carefully, Eovan is a new company with a great board ECP GTS v1 but only 6 months Warranty and does not look like it could handle wet weather, The Challenger great board with a 1 year warranty 😎but small motors and no kick tail Guard I will just have that in the back of my head everytime I ride, The BC v2 it's build better than V1 for sure with a 1 year/2 year warranty and looks like it can withstand wet weather much better. I will have to put my money on the BLACK CARVE V2, looking into discounts now , thanks for the video bro
Thats awesome you were able to make a decision. I wish you the best of luck with it all. Let me know if my discount codes dont work. Glad the videos were helpful for you. Make sure you let know what you think about the board once you get it.
@@Ramatorix I'm waiting for my tax return 2-3weeks your discount code work but the total comes out different on some websites with your code I will check into it some more thank you bro
My favorite setup on the bc2 is 45t with 120 cloudwheels but I do mostly trail rides with steep hills. I'm not a huge speed freak per-say but it will still go Plenty fast. I also got the plastic 44t pulleys from cloudwheels. Got them for my verreal but I want to try them on the bc2. Seem to have a little less slop when mounting the wheels. I also like the 39" deck better than v1 due to my wider stance.
Off topic comment: I just did the test fitting of the Clencher Mounting System for Nebula on the v2. It fits perfectly I wouldn't be without it now. Best upgrade ever! The original belt covers were the only thing that didn't fit but I have a couple on order from ownboard that will. Highly recommend checking out "Nebula Clencher" if you have the BC.
@@Ramatorix The company is actually out of Denver, not to far from you. I like that I can roll my board around like a suit case when I cant ride it and dont have to carry it. Also keeps the motors safe. Works with shreadlights too!
@@TrekPanda I reached out to them and they are willing to give you guys a discount. The code should be Rama and will be set up soon. Thanks for the info. Going to get a kit to try on the bc2.
@@Ramatorix Awsome! Do a vid when you get? Please! This thing should be standard IMO. Also, tell me if I'm wrong. I feel like the ride is much more stable with it. Maybe it's just me. The belt covers are the only thing that doesnt fit but I swopped over the ones from my verreal rs. Tightish fit but they work. %99 sure the ones for ownboard fit but will confirm when they arrive. Thank you for the channel Rama, you are the best in the biz!
Very good honest detailed video! Almost everything speaks for version 2. However, the price of this board is now substantially higher than Lycaon TRX 2.0, Eovan, Wowgo AT2 and many others of this type. Also I think it is more attractive and expensive making a carbon fiber or flexy deck rather than a stiff wooden one. In this case I would buy the V2 if I had the money though.
John, for some reason your comments always go for review. I caught it this time though. I agree about the price being higher. The eovan and onsra are close in price though. But you are right, when comparing to other boards a the price is a factor. Thanks for the comment and support

best regards i have onsro v1 3 months and most of the time i drive with 97 PU and with ceramic bearings from onsra. i have already destroyed 8 bearings on pullys and 2 ceramic bearings. it is true that my ride is mostly on a plane and all 19 km I do I drive 40-45 km / h. in 3 months I did 745 km. tnx
I was having a problem with 6900s blowing out. My fix ended up replacing the "rs" style with "zz" style from NSK. For the 608s I got bones ceramic big balls. No more problems with blowout and the smoothest ride yet!
Would you please make an acceleration test comparing the V1 belt and the V1 direct drive? Would really help us seeing the difference for good and bad. Also, all things considered do you still enjoy riding the V1 which is shorted vs and V2?
@@Ramatorix Yes that would be great, I think many would like to see a real acceleration text between the DD and belt drive. Sure, the belt should be better but how does it look? How big is the difference?
Are these boards forgiving over bumps? I think the flex is minimal so just wondered if its a comfortable ride and also what it's like with AT wheels. Thanks
They are comfortable for me but I run mine on the streets with cloudwheels. I have not tried the a/t wheels so I do not know about them. I really like the onsra even though the deck is stiff. Hope this helps
V1 has a flexure deck. Does it handle rough roads and sidewalks better than V2? Is the V2 uncomfortable during longer rides because of its stiffer deck?
I wear size 11.5 shoes and it is very comfortable compared to other boards I have tried. I really didn't like the 4mm padded griptape tho so I swapped it out for Vicious griptape for better traction.
For the Combination test from 0mph to 20mph then to 0mph
BC V1 - 12 sec
BC V2 - 10 sec
Perfect! Thanks for doing that. Pined!
