This song is part of the soundtrack for "Little Chenier: A Cajun Story" (pronounced "Shane-yay"). It is especially beautifully evocative as it is played against the backdrop of a funeral procession as it makes its way on foot down a Louisiana country road. The move is so special and so worth watching. This song will forever remind me of the simple and dedicated love and loyalty that these people have for one another.

I love this song in any language. But this one is special to me as my sweetie sent it to me and it means more now with the oil damage going on in Louisiana.

can someone post the lyrics in how to pronounce them . would love to learn this being we were not tought cajun french when we were little my grandparents used to talk so we did not understand them my dad knew some but we never learned how I hate that. beautiful song. I think is is even more beautiful in french.
