Oh well, a 40 % reduction in electricity (load shedding) and a 13 % increase in electricity prices will lead to a 40 % loss in production in a manufacturing company's output and ultimately lead to a 40 % cut to the workforce in industries reliant on electricity, this will lead to more precautions being taken in order to stay afloat / remain profitable, and not close their doors. Government better start making plans (FAST) to accommodate a massive influx of people registering for social grant support. Arcelor Mittal got out just in time by closing their operations down yesterday on the 31st of January! 🤔 It's not worth the headache of doing business in SA anymore..... Destroying every asset one has and infrastructure of every one’s home. It’s criminal and a crime against humanity due to destruction of much needed resources which are just be damaged at the will of government due to the negligence of government, or intentional this must be adressed in near future through such trials.
Shame on Eskom for strangle and think the sun belongs to Eskom and put penalties on solar enstallers, Eskom must pay back for production service losses.
