Is there a chance of doing a table based on percentage of stadiums full which would male it more interesting for those with smaller stadiums
Like that idea!
Fun list. I suppose it’s all relative. If Boro were in the Prem it would assumed to be a 33k sell out average. But would an e.g. Brighton get a 27k average after 7 straight up and down Championship seasons like Boro have had?
Still fun to do the lists. :)
Ben, are you going to do predictions for the Euros?
Might do one next week if people are interested 👊
@@BenHDI'll Be Interested
Interesting this, love a good stats ranking video, weirdly addictive haha
I proper enjoyed this video mate 👍
Appreciate that 🙏
Birmingham’s stadium was only fully open for like 3 home games and they sold out each time it was fully open.
Didn't expect west ham to be so high loved the video 👍
They have a capacity of 60,000, how did you not expect that?
Argyle fan here and we sold every home seat for over 18 months and would get at least 5 thousand more if capacity was increased
West ham are massive ⚒️
Leicesters stadium holds 32300, expansion planned for over 40000 ⚽️
Glad to the tractor boys up there🔵⚪️ if things go well our stadium will hold 39000
Preston and Millwall’s gates would be at least 4k lower if they were in L1
if wednesday were in the prem they would take way more than united
I guess a loyalty based one would have worked, because some teams have tiny stands but have packed home and away stands :D I wonder where all the original teams would be based on all the points they have got sinse being founded!
Around 4k on a season ticket waiting list at home park the club is looking at expanding your bang on!
Very difficult to do Ben,
removing the 'away' contingent from the figures, also the aspect re- tickets sold, (season cards) in relation to those who actually turn up ! as some clubs include those who haven't actually gone through a turnstile.
& to make it even more controversial, Clubs like Leeds Utd, Portsmouth, The Sheffield clubs would have higher average gates if they could accommodate them.
A well put together 'list' regardless, 👍
Well said, Portsmouth have been unable to sell out our stadium for a long time, For quite a while it was due to safety reasons and we couldn't fill up our stands because the club wasnt allowed, And last and this season we've been undergoing major renovations and for obvious reasons can't fill the stadium every game due to construction, But around the end of the season we were averaging around 19,500 to 20,000 which is maximum capacity at Fratton Park, and also had our highest ever attendance since the end of the terraces
Can you do the same but with stadium capacity this time ?
We have some great fans, so League Two is quite surprising
Tinpot
Try doing it per head of population and I think a lot of those would change. Of course city clubs are going to get more than town clubs unless there are no other clubs near them. Also, some of those teams have actually had sell out gates so they might have had more if they had the room.
Gargantuan 💛🖤
wouldnt call 3rd from bottom "gargantuan" 🤣
What happened to Chesterfield?
Milton Keynes should be in Non League Ben😮
Ipswich fan base is massive
Can't say I've ever seen one outside of ipswitch
You are missing Derby county in this🤷🏼♀️
Link please, Ben 🙏🏻
Do percentage ☠️
Kinda flawed this. For example Boro averaged 34,000 when they were in the premier League and teams like Brighton and wolves weren't averaging crowds as big as Boro are now when they were in the championship.
I reckon Hull could easily have massive attendances if they had a good team only club in the whole of East Yorkshire
Too many people in the city supporting the ‘big 4’, especially Liverpool for some weird reason, and also Leeds.
@@Baronoviclike a say if they had a good team which they never have really…they get great attendances as it is for a club that’s done absolute nothing!
@@Baronovic Same all over Yorkshire though. I live in Sheffield and know of so many people who support Leeds, despite their being 5 professional clubs in the county.
I don’t get it ..support local! …glory supporting another city’s team!! 🤯
Ranking them alphabetically - except for Millwall? 😂
Take on board the prices of tickets at Hillsborough compared with Bumhole Lane we are bigger 😀
Wednesday haven't averaged 30k since the 60's. Your huge support is a myth.
Along with the other dreamers that go to that old blue Rust Bucket on the outskirts of Sheffield .. you need to get a reality check. ⚔️
@JensonDurham Wednesday in the modern day premier league 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣.
@JensonDurham If you didn't have such an unhealthy obsession with attendances, we wouldn't need to bring it up.
@JensonDurham Well that's a blatant lie because I hardly ever leave comments on RUclips. This video isn't even strictly Wednesday related either. Keep telling yourself what you want to hear though. Whatever helps you cope I guess.
Decent list but ManCity should be lower😂
4th highest attendance season just gone give your head a damn shake buddy
SAFC have the best fans.
Ben think you missed derby pal

How Cambridge league 2?? Our atmosphere is so good man what’s up????
Its based on average home gates not atmosphere mate
@@alexhalsall3159 ahhhhh ty lmao I was gonna say 😭😭 tbf to us we do I think our average stadium full was like 86% so it’s still good 👍
Please don’t put Oxford next to shitdon
Sunderland will be prem next season Boro Joining Leeds in League wan
Sunderland fans know all about league 1 don’t they
@@jaxz7676 Biggest club in the championship watch the video !
Always a great game when Sunderland and Sheffield United play each other ... both have great loyal supporters. ⚔️UTB⚔️
@@michael7286 yeah hopefully we don't get heckingbottom though 😂
@@CaraghMurphy19 Hahaha 😂 Hecky got the Blades into the play offs, although we lost in the penalty shoot out he got the Blades automatic promotion to the Premier League the following season ... but the less said about that the better. I hope Sunderland can get back to playing in the big league.
As a Blackburn rovers fan, the matches ive been to and we have been packed.
key words: "matches ive been to"
@@1Jcfc I know just sayin
That will have mostly been away fans
@@Jesusesbathwater nuh uh 8,000 compared to like 20,000 rovers fans when I last went
How many decades ago was that?
Might be good to do a list based on average away miles per fan? E.g. if the average away fans are 1000 and the average away distance is 30 miles, it would be 30,000.
... basically, im trying to think of a list that would put Argyle in the prem!
Leeds in the premier league, definitely correct, you could do a 1-20/1-24 based on how they'd do in these divisions based on how they're actually doing now
13th again ole ole
Wednesday are massive. Bottom Of league all season and most expensive prices . Massive.
total rubbish
ikr 😂 he literallt just based this off of home attendances which is basically just stadium size

Possibly one of the worst sides I've seen in the premier league. Actually, the worst. I never saw that derby side.
