- Peter Austin's Bake-O-Matic Oven - Mini Jiffy Corn Bread! Let's see how this light bulb oven bakes corn muffins in three different pans.
Lucky Penny Thoughts: I'm on a mission to test all of the ovens in my collection to see how they work with different recipes. This Bake-O-Matic had two 100 watt light bulbs and baked great on the top and bottom. I like this oven more then most because you can easily open it to see how the item is baking.

I still have the yellow one I had as a kid (plus an avocado green one acquired in later years.) In the early 1970s, it came supplied with Pillsbury mixes, in little boxes with fantastic graphics. BTW, it looks as if the door lock on yours is broken - the door is supposed to remain locked until the oven cools down enough to be safe for kids to remove the pan by themselves.
Update : a couple of drops of 3-in-1 oil on the rack's track will alleviate the screeching noise!

I think your corrugated muffin tin could be classified as a Madeleine tin. Maybe you should try a Madeleine recipe in it to see if it works lol
