Slim; you are undoubtedly one of the most significant linux and opensource 'layman' youtubers. No pretenses, no charades, no technical jabberwocky - just output that eill stand the test of time. It is fairly mammoth in proportion though, as i have said before. A pat on the back, and maximum kudos. It makes me wish i was a gamer. I take it these lengthy videos are a complete run-through of the hame being described?
    Be safe...

Hi ya Meta. Yes these are mammoth videos, normally RUclips Gamer's do half an hour to an hour. I want to document all my games and post gameplay playing through Proton in Cachy OS. This game is the other Uncharted game that came with Uncharted 4. Lost Legacy.
This is only part one, there are two other parts to go up yet. I'm not a gamer either, just like to see if my old brain can still do it and document it. What better way than to do videos and post them here on this platform.
My channel is now called mixed bag of Linux, as this channel has gaming and other Linux rubbish, which I will be doing some more of soon. I'm now making my videos in DaVinci Resolve, then I re encode in Kdenlive, then shrink it down yet again in Avidemux. Seems to work too.
Part two of the above game is one hour and fourteen minutes. DaVinci Resolves rendering made the file through my NVIDIA 4060 card over 64 Gigabytes. Put it through Kdenlive, brought it down to 24 Gigabytes, then used Avidemux which has NVIDIA H264 codec, got it down to 10 Gigabytes, without losing quality.
Even though I paid £285.00 quid for DaVinci Resolve, still have no control over video encoding.
AV1 is just too intensive and heavy, so went back to H264. Even H265 or HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) isn't that good. I have more control over H264.
Like I say will be doing some Linux stuff soon, just having fun using my computers as they are intended to be used. Sorry for the Epic Novel I've just written, get carried away.
PS Thank you for your kind words, there are better channels out there than mine. I don't do RUclips for a living I do it for documentation mostly.
