- "If You Ever Needed The Lord" featuring the GMWA Detroit Mass Choir (Michael Fletcher - Min. of Music, Directing) at the GMAC concert at the First Church of Deliverance, Chicago, IL on April 27. 2012. This is the annual fellowship concert for the two choirs.

We used to sing this back in 1979 @ Greater Friendly Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Anchorage, Alaska. Bishop CD Williams was our pastor. ( R.I.P.)

I remember going to church with my grandma and they song this song!! Rip granny. This song stuck with me forever
Omg, I can remember moving to Tha’ City from Jerzeeeee.. ummmmm’ sends chills up & down my spine! Loved on tha’ west side, Fenkell & Puritan. Used to listen to this Church every Sunday, told myself one day I’m going to find out how to get there & join! Pastor Charles H. Nocks, Jr & Rev. Rufus Calvin Pope!

Come on Detroit that was waaaay too fast. That song has more of a grove to it. You can sing it that fast and catch the essence of such a simple son.
