KKnockk' thank for the video! I have 3-Versions of this unit. 1-Sliver L20 / 1-Dark Gray L25 / 1-Dark Gray L26. My Sliver's L20 arm will que-just-right' then the arm will skip/drag too the end and return too the resting post. HELP'!!!!!!! James'
First test all of the critical parameters. Is the stylus chipped or worn? (Remember, you are dragging a diamond through your precious vinyl.) You might want to install a stylus from one of your working units to see if there is a difference. Is the playing weight correct? What is the condition of the belts that drive the play mechanism? (Not a likely cause of this trouble, but always worth a look)
@@jamese.sandersjr5407 Either the belts, or the mechanism that detects lateral movement in the stylus. Once it thinks that the stylus has has played a few grooves, and is advancing toward the center of the platter, it advances the rear of the tone arm to try to keep it directly behind the stylus. You are dragging a diamond over your precious vinyl.
A worn of chipped stylus can cause damage.
Definitely buy the new stylus.
This turntable has 4 speeds (16, 33, 45 and 78 rpm), or only 33 and 45 rpm?
33 and 45 rpm
