the other crazy thing about this scene is this B#@#$, up until this point in the show didn’t even know nor interact with the FL and was a backgroundcharacter. She just appears out of “nowhere”. For the FL to be so damn timid was maddening! Especially since she wasn’t timid in the rest of the series. She literally could have kicked her ass.
Sooo the schemer is angry that the other woman was able to defend herself when the schemer attacked her when she wasn't looking so she sent her assistant to someone else's company to fire her for 'taking something that wasn't hers' meaning the CEO who the schemer sees as hers but who has no interest in her outside of work? Great, another delusional entitled psychopathic 'other woman' that thinks she owns a guy because she 'knew him first and called dibs' who will do terrible things to the 'Cinderella' that also hurt the company of her 'love interest' but will miraculously grow a conscience a few episodes before the end of the series and everyone will get amnesia. These writers aren't even *trying* to do something different any more, just more rinse and repeat.

I'm watching two right now Women Walk the Line and Stand or Fall, I also started Our Glamorous Time not sure how strong a character female lead is going to be. I get tired of the same plot and try to find other storylines. The domineering CEO gets old but try any of the ones I listed you may like them.
I find it odd that the writers don’t challenge themselves more. Just some different settings would help. Try some different types of people. Why is there an obsession with CEO s? The stereotyping is also daft.
@@rossutherland7016 So many of the men and businessmen probably for the same reason so many of the 'rival' women are either their childhood friends/sweethearts or women of comparable social ranks and wealth that are 'perfect on paper' for them but they don't want; because the audience (mainly women) are supposed to identify themselves in the 'Cinderella' and have the show be escapism that they can find a rich guy who'll love her more than someone already in his world and elevate her up because he loves her 'despite her coming from nothing' because that's the only way you can be genuine and a good person apparently; if you grew up with little. It is extremely rare for the FL to also come from a wealthy family legitimately, unless they have a self-centred entitled sibling/family that consistently treated them poorly to humble them.

I agree, that's why I watch the short scenes to see how irritated I get with the FL first. I like watching the bad ass women who are kind but can kick ass protecting themselves or the ones they love, can go strong against the ML and any enemies.
