HISTORIA:
Hachiman Hikigaya es el novio de Yukinoshita Yukino, una joven muy valorada en la preparatoria por su belleza, clase y por ser la capitana en el equipo de Tenis y en el de porristas, sin embargo ambos no son muy compatibles debido al carácter que tiene Yukino con Hikigaya. Totsuka Saika es el mejor y único amigo de Hachiman y suele salir con él cuando Hikigaya necesita desahogarse de sus problemas con Yukino, sin embargo él no sabe que Saika está enamorado de él. Totsuka no lo soporta más y le dice a Hachiman que lo ama, preguntándole a la vez por qué está en una relación con Yukinoshita al ver todos los problemas que esa relación les causa. Saika ansía que Hachiman le confiese que él también lo ama para al fin tener una relación, ya que Hikigaya siempre ha sido muy atento con Totsuka, incluso más de lo que es con la misma Yukino.

Well, if you think about it logically they are polar opposites in many ways. The instant attraction of Hachiman's first interaction as well as Saika seeking out Hachiman makes it a so very appealing idea. Also the couple would just look adorable together

Totsuka was the reason I watched this anime! I love him!
I'm trying to convince myself Hachiman simply developed a crush on any girl that wouldn't frown upon him instantly, and subconsciously, he classified Totsuka as a girl as well, therefore he was attracted to an imaginary girl rather than to an actual boy (or to an imaginary person rather than a real one). So their relationship would be based on false ideas and thus would be doomed from the very beginning. But still, their shared on-screen moments were just so sweet, and oh my, I've never shipped anything so hard. :(
