Programs in Yesler is a documentary film of MMRTI 2024 Yesler Terrace Summer Youth Media Program.
MMRTI’s YT Youth Media Program, which inspires youth to be powerful voices for their community through civic dialogue, photography and film. There were 38 students from middle school and high school who completed the program.
MMRTI’s Youth Media Program inspires youth to be powerful voices for their community through civic dialogue, photography and film. The program empowers youth to be advocates for their changing neighborhood by equipping them with communication tools for self-representation and community voice through expressive documentary film and photography.
This year’s program was made possible through the generous support of Seattle Housing Authority (SHA), the City of Seattle, Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL), Seattle University (SU), and
Yesler Community Center.
