Great video pics...nothing like top fuel funny cars...but....with that being sad, for ALL of US who are jaded & disenchanted with modern day NHRA & NASCAR, please check out SEGA (Southeast Gassers Assoc) - they adhere to the 1967 NHRA handbook ( as much as possible)...all body styles must be from 67' or older...all cars must use a 4 speed & clutch - NO automatics allowed...they honor our military before Prayer & the National Anthem 🇺🇸 🙏 🏁 ✌
Who is going to be the one to tell Jim Dunn walkers are not a good idea on the starting line. I appreciate his enthusiasm but safety may become an issue.
I've noticed not alot of spectators . what's really happening now is street outlaws NPK it's always jam packed . Even locals no prep racing in small towns dragstrip has more spectators than this it's kinda sad if you think about it.
What a horrible race this was very disappointing that left lane sucked all day long gatornationals usually is the best race of the Year this was horrible,
How boring. Slow these FC's down to 300 mph. Go back to the quarter mile and smoky burnouts. Make the bodies look more identifiable, relatable and entertaining for the spectators. Have some business sense, guts, and make some positive changes to the sport. I live 35 minutes from Pomona and stopped going to the drags 20+ years ago. Alot of my friends have stopped going as well.
I agree. I still love it but I think the sponsors have too much control over the sport. It's almost like a big infomercial. They don't do long burnouts anymore, the last time there was a burndown the crowd was going wild and the starter disqualified them. They hardly ever race at night. Also the pros are so busy plugging sponsors that you don't ever really see the driver... except john force. LOL

I noticed there's hardly anyone in the grandstands. Years ago those grandstands would've been packed with spectators !!

Jim Dunn is still at it and even needing to use a walker now but still out there getting the car ready for a lap.

Tickets is 65 dollars minimum, 15 dollars for hamburgers or hotdogs with fries.
If you love drag racing, you don't ask how much , you go to the race!!!!

FLO racing at Bradenton was packed. NHRA has lost touch
