My Pixel 5a did this yesterday. I did all these steps for 1.5 rounds before giving up and taking it to the repair shop (it was still under warranty for a cracked-screen repair less than a month ago). The only one of these that provided any sign of life was whacking it (not against my palm--bc that hurts--but instead my thigh). I got a flashing greenish screen...and then it dialed 911 involuntarily. *Facepalm*

My 6a has this problem where the screen is black with white lines and then it clears up and then it goes white when I power it off and on the screen is black with a white line up top
Hello, with tapping I got green lines. Forget to mention that my screen is cracked in many places. I'm trying the freezer. I'm stubborn I'll keep trying till the wheels fall off. Thanks for your help.

@@han79045 I don’t have an exact vid but this vid show how to access recovery menu then factory reset, but for u in recovery menu look for wipe cache partition NOT wipe date/ factory reset. Freezer method worked for me. I out it in for 15 minutes and took it out after. It's been working ever since. Sorry to hear it was only temporary on your side.
Massage method worked for me the first time this happen to me but now its not responding again so I am on to the freezer method.. my screen isn't black but my screen isn't responding to my touch..

Dunno how long you "fixed" it... But it's a manufacturer's error. The Google pixel 6 has with its motherboard. If you take it in the motherboard is covered free of charge.... IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. For me, I fixate using my car charger. The power of the battery in the car starting jolted it and gave it enough power to wake it up
This must be a joke. Massaging my phone!? I've never and WILL NEVER massage my phone to get it working. Google needs to fix their QC issues. Dumbest thing I've ever heard, do this 7x. But what if 9x is a charm? You never get there because you only suggested 7x

Mine is stuck on the charging screen. The battery gets hot, so I know it's getting power, but for some reason, it will not power on.
