Sammy Tanner was my grade school friends step dad. I remember most of those pictures from various places around the house when i would come over to visit. Sammy was a very busy man. Always working on something. Speedway and flat track were big in so. Cal. they were involved in it and took it very serious. Always bringing home trophies. Good times.

Wow very cool history there! I've only known Sammy as a older gentleman at the speedway races, what a legend he is, and amazing flat tracker at Ascot! He was #1🏁🏆🏁

I worked with Jack Tanner Sammy's Son. Met Sammy several times. Great to be around kinda guy. Legend is a good description of Sammy. He should be interviewed to tell his stories.

Sammy is an amazing legend, I tried many times to interview him live stream show, but I think he don't want. But if I race next season, I'll try and film him talking about some stories, I would love that while we still have him around as he was a legendary racer! What a great man.
