In order to placate Israel, the coalition promised to prioritise the elimination of the launchers. Coalition Command then put together a task force of SAS, Delta force and a mix of airforce's from the coalition in order to seek and destroy the scuds, launchers and associated infrastructure. It was the success of this operation that kept Israel out of the war not the USA telling Israel to "bend over and take it".

@@kennythawsh Well, to be fair, it's extremely rare that a youtube video will be viewed by someone who didn't actively want to watch it (unless it's running as an ad). Whereas CNN is in airports, restaurants, etc. So any number of people can be a "live viewer" without actually having any interest in what CNN is saying. It would be better to analyze the views that specially come from households, not just any views in general.

Television networks get viewership numbers from surveys, maybe a select very few households get monitors in DVRs to track what is being watched, but do you think airports and restaurants are keeping DVRs and monitors to track that they are watching one specific channel? Considering it's not CNN doing the monitoring, it's an external organization that monitors for all networks.
And even if television could have online tracking of every device playing a particular network, how many televisions do you think airports have?

Hamas took over Gaza. From that point on, Netanyahu had no choice but to make sure foreign aid gets to Hamas because that was the only way any money would get to the Gazen people. How did he justify the money transfer to his political opponents that claimed he's supporting terror? He used the argument about preventing two states. In reality he had no choice, Hamas took full control of Gaza. I know, its not as cool as the trending conspiracy theories, but reality is always more complicated and boring.

Is the argument over semantics and the meaning of propping up? Supporting? Backing up? Giving credence? Whichever you prefer - Dave is explaining, with multiple sources, Netanyahu’s goal of supporting Hamas as a way to discredit the plight of Palestinians that would ever want a two state solution. So instead of arguing with the semantics - maybe argue with the point. Destiny knows it’s a good point, so he argues semantics.

Arabic varies greatly across the Arab speaking world but many Arab speakers will speak Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) which is often used in formal settings (universities, newscasts), Egyptian Arabic because they make a lot of movies and TV shows in their local Arabic dialect, and Classical (Quranic) Arabic because that's what the Quran is written in. An Arab speaker in Oman will have some difficulty understanding a Moroccan Arabic speaker if they're both speaking their local dialect, but they can most likely converse using most likely MSA but possibly one of the other two options.

According to wiktionary, the infallible source, "sabaya" means roughly a female teenager or young woman, especially an unmarried one, and can have the connotation of being a slave/servant.
So although I can see where "girls who can get pregnant" comes from, man is that a BIG leap to make. If there had to be one word to translate it as, probably "virgins" would have been it? But even that is loaded. It could have the connotation of their sexual value, but it doesn't seem like that's the immediately obvious meaning, at all.
The primary meaning in this context seems to be "the young women we captured," which just from how arabic works and the history of the region has a specific word for it.

"no" and "not" are usually the same word in arabic (la لا) and also knowing that saying something is not the word you know is easier than knowing 2 words makes a lot of sense. Maybe wherever he learned english did not teach the word ugly so only knowing beautiful so no beautiful would be fine considering most people who know only a little bit of a second language or dont use it often would translate word for word in there head

It's work looking up facts man, ya know people want and seek that lazy validation always. The trick is understanding when lazy validation starts negatively effecting ones life. I want to like Joe Rogan like I used to, but he’s been getting under my skin with his new guests. He has the biggest podcast on RUclips, and he’s basically been strictly endorsing right wing conspiracists for a year, and a half.
It’s his podcast, and it’s his right to do that, but there used to be a time when he used to question these nut jobs before he’d just take a drag of his weed bowl, and go;

Rogan very clearly says he does not endorse anything a guest says. He has on people he's interested in & gives them an opportunity to show the audience who they are. The audience is responsible for making their own judgment about the guest & their positions. Also, Rogan has also very clearly said not only will Trump never be on his show precisely because he will never support him, Rogan has never voted for a Republican & probably never will. If you watch his show you should know this already. Rogan did endorse Bernie in 2016 & had him on his show specifically to boost his profile to his audience. His political positions have not changed. His disgust with the Democratic Party has grown because they do not govern the way he wants them to. He's likely voting RFK as a result.
