This video is awesome! We were scheduled to be there this coming June (Dublin-Killarney-Lahinch) for an 8-day golf trip. Postponed until next June sadly. Can't even imagine how many golf balls I am going to lose! Thanks for sharing. See ya in 2021! (coming from Minneapolis btw)
This lockdown has changed so much of our lives Chris, hopefully it will be all over soon and we can go back to normal life losing goofballs and living life. I hear Minneapolis is a beautiful place.
Nicely done! I've just uploaded my first vlog of Bannow Bay. Would you happen to know anything about what appears to be an abandoned catamaran in the lagoon just behind Bannow Island Beach?
Hi Rue It use to belong to a gentleman called Don, he sailed it over here from Europe and moored it down there. Don use to live in a mobile home beside The Brandane Inn in Bannow. He was from the UK originally but travelled around a lot. He was an absolute gentleman and sadly died a couple of years back. I use to have conversations with him when I was a child, very interesting bloke and I always admired his adventurous spirit. He was usually working on his motorbikes on a sunny day.
@@thewanderingirishman6051 Thanks for getting back to me, I truly appreciate it! I just wish there was some info on the boat online, but alas there's none, so you are the saviour sir! By the way you'll see my take on it in my Bannow Bay Part 2 vlog 😊
Anyone know if there are still any Cleary's in Bannow. Me grandfadder was born there in 1875. His mother's name was Anty Keyes. They migrated to Argentia, Newfoundland and my mother, Mary Cleary was born there in 1917. Her mother's name was Ellen Hunt. My grandfadder, Richard Cleary, was a fisherman in and around Placentia Bay, Avalon Peninsula. Thank you
Gorgeous views of our stunning lil patch
Thanks Sinead, BBQ's will be had when this isolation ends
You forget how lucky we are to have this nearby. Beautiful overhead shots
Thanks, Sam, we really are so lucky. I think this isolation has made us slow down a bit and appreciate what's close to us.
