- A day at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway on the Yellow Timetable with a variety of Steam and Diesel Locomotive’s working services between Grosmont to Pickering, and to Whitby. Footage took place at Grosmont Station and line side at Grosmont on Tuesday 6th August 2024.
It’s a good thing that heritage railways have a broad mix of steam and diesel locomotives!! If they didn’t, there’d be no diesel locomotives left!!
Nice to see a 4MT tank locomotive!! The one in question is a British Railways model.
I seem to recognise the Southern Railway steam locomotive, which I think is a C Class. I have a 00 Gauge model of one!!

On the end face of each carriage are the letters C1, in white on the black background, what does that stand for/mean?? Thank you.

The C1 on the end of Mk1 carriages are clearance codes for curves
