Very nice and wdicative. We need to appreciate this great hero and legend. I can't think of anyone else who did better than the great Fela Anikulapo himself. A race will hardly be blessed with more than one of his kind. I'm lucky to have lived to know him. He challenged concepts meaningfully and constructively. He was not selfish. He fought corruption without compromise and fear ❤❤❤
Really? Like they have Michael Jackson or Elvis Presley shop in America airports or like they have Elton John Shop at Heathrow Airport ? Una like to joke too much. Was he even a good role model or someone who was against the authority ? In Nigeria anyone against constituted authority are usually una role model either positively or negatively. 😅
@abayomiabi I guess you'd only do as your white colonial masters did. Fela is a major icon in Nigera not only as a political activist but also when it comes to Arts and Entertainment in Nigeria. So when I say a Fela store at the airport, of course, I don't mean it to be of government controlled. FELA IS A BRAND. Take it or leave it... and if a Fela brand store is up at the MMA, dude make you waka pass, dem no dey force anybody.
Hmm, I remember going up those stairs onto the 1st floor sitting room, past an array of hand woven shoes for FELA… what an Enigma. So full of knowledge and wisdom. It was always humbling, in his presence. Forget the weed, honest.
This is Gbemishola street fela house when he was alive l was here even his burial day l was there didn't know they have turned it to museum beautiful ❤️😍 to see kudos to you
Nice video. But please next time, focus your camera on object of discourse. The tour guide was mentioning important incidents and albums like “Yellow Fever”, etc, but your were just showing random things and not letting the camera capture what she was pointing out to you. For an excursion to Fela Museum, details about his landmark endeavors are more important than just showing the walls and gift shop. Nevertheless, well done for visiting this place. You just called my attention to one place I must visit when next I’m in Nigeria. Thank you.
The easiest way to probably get him is if you make your way to Pa Alfred Rewane road in Ikoyi, it is formerly called Kingsway road. That's the location she met him, I'm sure he probably hustles in that traffic regularly

Never knew a nice place like this existed. I m definitely visiting on my next Naija trip
You could also visit his childhood home in Abeokuta.
@coxie_thebrand That will be cool, too, except that it was Fela Ransome-Kuti who lived in the Abeokuta home.
They used to operate a hotel in the upper rooms. It was a cool place to stay.
So beautiful house
