Hi Thomas. The nameplate on the front is the train name not the loco name, so it gets removed at the end of the journey. The 023 is an old style train number identifier, in use before the current four character codes came in which happened in the early 1960s. Probably added for a bit of nostalgia!
The three of them Britannia class are 70000 Britannia 70013 Oliver Cromwell and 71000 duke of gloster
Duke of Gloucester isn't a Britiannia class, she's a BR Standard 8 Class
Oliver Cromwell the reason I love steam. A footplate ride at Bressingham steam museum aged 3 and I have loved steam ever since.
