I don't mind a inline 6 in a truck. Pretty much grew up riding in one back in the old days. It's just the damn prices these days. Ridiculous.

Come on! Dodge, Chevy and GMC and Ford need to get back to basics. Build a basic work truck that the average working person can afford. Just like back in the old days. Wined up windows, standard seats, standard transmission and 4x4. We don't need all this other tech. We just need a great truck! One like the old days., where you could improve your truck by yourself. Or just keep it stock. Get with it guys!

They're all junk. Doesn't matter what brand you go to they all suck. Those 6.2l engines fail within the warranty period cause of all those lifters collapsing and causing the cam to get chewed up and the pushrods to bend. Doesn't matter if you get rid of the cylinder deactivation because those lifters are made cheap and still fail even when they are not deactivating a cylinder.
