I love how self-conscious Plague is, so much so that he’s just like “guess I’m dead” when his mask pops off. Also his drink on his desk in the flashback is in the shape of one of his bombs.
I really doubt he actually has a bird face. Also why is nobody questioning the faces of the ENTIRE ORDER OF NO QUARTER? Shield knight is the ONLY main character in shovel of hope who's face is visible!
I think Polar Knight's face is also mostly visible. We get to see part of Specter Knight's in his campaign in flashbacks and through his final, vanity skin. I'd say those two and King Knight are the only confirmed human knights. (unless King Knight's mother pulled a Magicist or something) Personally, I don't think Mole Knight or Plague Knight are humans. There are anthro characters in Shovel Knight's universes. It'd make sense if at least two or three of the knights aren't human. With that said, I do not think Shovel Knight is a fishman, however. I'm thinking, based on that personality of his, he's most likely a fairly generic, square-jaw'd human. Despite his unconventional weapon, I strongly feel he fits the mold of generic, traditional, campy hero and his appearance (apart from the height) would reflect that. His personality just practically begs he be a human with that appearance.
