Do not take it for granted if you have friends who are trustworthy, loyal, supportive, present etc, thank God for them. It is and has been my prayer for God to connect me with good friends.

I appreciated the part about allowing our friends a level of vulnerability as far as expressing their deepest feelings about our achievements especially when things are not looking up for them. When we know our bestie's heart for us, we are then able to see that if they feel a little bit jealous then it's because they are human and not because they are no longer loyal to us. The most insightful thing I've heard is that "jealously is an indication that you want what someone else has, that in itself is not the issue because the knowledge that you want something is not problematic. The issue is how you react to it."
A much-needed conversation. I'm currently going through a friendship breakup and I have known the person since I was 8. I thought she was going to be part of my bridesmaids when I get married one day, the aunt to my kids. I mean we had plans for when we were older and I couldn't wait to see what God had in store for us. I thank you for the installment that is just so powerful and so much wisdom and has given me some food for thought. You guys are such a blessing in the Kingdom of God.
Yoh I am a lover of people especially my friends. I have many that my wife even lose count lol. I am learning though to cut down those who want to be celebrated and wanting to always be on a receiving end and not reciprocating the love I give to them. I am guarding my heart more this year.

This is such a timely video. God is teaching me so much about friendships this season, it’s been sooo strong in my heart to take time out to pray for my friends.
In as much as I loveeee my husband, he is not my best friend because my female best friends are soooo important to me and they make me be a better wife to my husband.
There’s a saying that 20 friends can’t play for 20 years. I’m such an intense friend as well and I had to take time to really “grade” my friendships. There is my CORE friends (we maintain the same energy towards each other) and then there are other friends that I noticed they weren’t as open and vulnerable with me like I was to them so I had to “dim my love” so as not to get hurt and reduce my expectations and of them.
Also yes, friendship grows and sometimes we are just not patient to watch it evolve but such is life.

My one friend admitted to me that she was jealous when a bought a brand of esxpensive multi-vitamins that she really liked 🤣... I burst out laughing. Because I actually knew she is such a content person and isn't a copy cat and very unique in her taste. So I was laughing because I realized how much she values health and nutrition , also I only bought that one bottle because I thought it would solve my weight-loss issues …Haha :) , meanwhile her whole lifestyle was healthy. She is always been a great friend though and I guess , its good to be sensitive to your friends needs. I will be buying it for her as a gift this year.

I have two best friends... I meet them in varsity... We are real friends , we support each other emotionally, spiritually and we talk about our disires.... We attend ceremonies asenakhaya... And I think it is a life time friendship

Exactly I felt like that as well and even friendships I had at state theatre and in the industry I feel like when I give everyone genuine and pure love they use me and when it comes to males they think I want them I’m obsessed with that I had so many issues with my newly best friend and that started affecting so much and our friendship as well and he started treating me so unfairly and I remember falling into depression going to therapy for a year because I was clueless of why he is treating me like this when I just love everyone boldly and genuinely. I have to let go of friendships because I felt used and I’m one person who can’t love or care about someone from a far I mean God doesn’t love me from a far distance so why should I love one of his children like that but anyways a lot landed me in therapy now I’m better made peace that I don’t have friends I just have people I know and socialise with and it’s ok I guess

Absolutely loved this installment🥺❤ one thing I picked up from this as well is that DAMN Aus'P...being straight forward with your friend and telling him you cant be there anymore etc. I struggle with that...I cant be straight forward like that and I think its cause I dont want to hurt peoples feelings you know. Crazy but hey..definitely something I need to work on cause it really does set boundaries.
Also friendships...I also had friends whereby I thought they were my besties but I wasnt their bestie...so I did pull away from that too cause it was not beneficial or fruitful at all!
Overall...loved this segment and shout out to your bestfriends who are part of your lives. It must be such a fulfilling and healthy relationship!❤✝️✝️✝️✝️💫 Love to see it!

@Pheto what you said about friends with similar and or same taste, how it can build towards unknown rivalry, I wish I'd understood this from an early age. In a group of friends I always ended up feeling alone since childhood simply because group envy has been my biggest battle.
I used to share my aspirations, ideas etc with those I thought were close but realised later I wasn't their closest which stung, that all the while they would despise my choice of anything because they either wanted it for themselves first or only if not wished to become what I would share with them about my future plans. At every phase there was at least one girl of my friends & in some cases family members who would either copy every single thing I do including buying clothes, drastically change hair styles to match mine, aspire about the same things, go for a guy I am dating or confess they want to be like me. All I can say is I am grateful I have a handful of real ones BUT they are few and far between.

The reason i don't have friends is cuz. I am very private and allowing people into my space makes me uncomfortable. Hence i come off as antisocial when attending social events. Not sure if it's a bad thing ..

Shuu🔥🔥 actually wow lol life ah maan so I have this thing of reuniting with my primary school friends mostly one’s I was in class with and it just shows me that it wasn’t a just a friend life left behind we’ve been removing myself from the past but I guess God had other plans for our reunion at this point in time I think she is the friend I have besides my best friends but it’s not yet a sold friendship from grade1 to splitting up 12years lol yes I was in school 12years ago ok 😂😂we old💀 to come back in my life 2020 I think I get what you are saying but not putting in the work to keep your friendships going crazy how I’ve never got tired to keep my friendship with my best friend going after school we reunited at state theatre studied arts together now we are reaching adulthood together best feeling ever 🥺♥️

I’m so much like the mrs Max, I love very boldly. I am extremely extremely loyal to my friends. And as a result I have been able to keep the friends that love boldly and I also extremely extremely loyal to me. Anything else, stay away from me. If you don’t support me and my relationship, and my daughter, and my family, then I have no use for your in my life. For me it’s really that simple loyalty plus love that’s all I’m asking for.

I’m also like that I’m an introvert and extrovert had best friends every whwre as well but as I grow they all gone life happened. Currently I’m just left with one my childhood guy best friend then years later 2016 I met my other best friend DrTumi I make friends so easily cause of my personal. when you look a me you would think that I have friends but truth be told I don’t have I’ve got my childhood best friend and other people I thought they are my friends are just ( people are know or socialise with) got to find out that in a hard way but we move i am glad I finally made peace with it and once and a conversation with you Mrs M remember😁 so yea it use to pain me jreee 🙆🏾♀️😂thinking they are using me

You know neh 😂😂😂 wow so with me I had a lot of guy friends because I could relate more to them then girls the house is full of gents than girls so it naturally became that thing of ah it’s easy to create friendships in that area. But now they problem start when I had so many head surgeries I had to cut my hair. I started loving short hair did that often times lol until I was called lesbian so it forced me to let go of them and create new females friends now I’m in my middle 20s and I’m back to square one😂🤦🏾♀️ but my mom still has an issue with the whole thing she be like for once grow your hair like your female friends and other normal girls it’s like I’m not normal but I understand where she comes from I look more like my dad even the walk so when my hair is gone I’m like a boy straight up that’s why the lesbian thing.
