An idea I had that could make freeze more valuable is to have it apply a “frosted” aura to enemies that the reaction triggers on which appears as a white-blue frosty tint on enemies. What it could do is increase the incoming crit damage an enemy takes while it lasts. Let’s say 7 seconds or so. The amount of crit damage the increase gives could scale based on a few different things, but what I thought could be good is the triggering character’s EM / ATK or HP I feel like crit damage would be a good upgrade as to me cryo is the element of critting considering it’s resonance gives crit rate. I’m not really sure how much crit damage it would give base on the attack but let’s just say that an off field hydro or cryo unit building around 800 EM would give around 70 crit damage. And a 1000 EM character would get around 90% like how stacking 1000 EM on dendro characters like nahida is most optimal and any more suffers from scaling issues. The frosted aura would be removed by pyro but not electro, meaning physical dps would work with it. I’m not sure how good the numbers are or if this idea has been discussed much on this channel before but I just felt like sharing my thoughts on how cryo could be made better. Genshin has some of the stupidest scaling stats ever. Like hp on shielders: thanks, I'm really gonna need all those extra hp on a character I'll likely keep on field for 0.5 seconds each rotation. Now imagine how much better it would be if skills scaled off a specific cumulative (teamwide) Stat. This way you could give zhongli an atk build for thicc meteors and have a busted shield thanks to team mates like Neuvilette, furina or Hu Tao (raising the cumulative total hp of the team). Same for defence scaling. You could give your albedo in mono geo itto a full atk build for burst nuking while still having a buffed elemental skill thanks to itto and gorou's defence. This would open up so many new and interesting comps, builds and odd synergies it's unreal.
I think that your expectations were miscalibrated. You expect her to be a Cryo unit that supports Cryo when she's a Cryo unit that supports Pyro and Hydro. She's clearly meant to support Mavuika given she applies Cryo every 2 seconds and Mavuika applies Pyro every 2 seconds, so trying to apply her kit to today's characters is missing her niche as a Mavuika Melt support - or at least that's my take on her kit.
Oh, I never had an issue with her being a Pyro/Hydro support. It was more that the way she supports them felt a bit boring, considering that her EM scaling could've opened really cool doors for Cryo reactions.
@@notsolong Ok sure, but what about Mavuika who literally everyone wants to use with Citlali? I feel like that's the weirdest part. Mavuika doesn't have many Hydro options: Furina, Mona, Barbara... She will Shatter, and Citlali's "ideal" team really doesn't work with her which is super weird imo
@@theshard5697 3 thing: - you could make team out side of that ideal core. For mavuika it perfectly fine for her to only melt the burst slash and the first 2-3 hit which make citlali fine as a solo cryo. If you want to melt all her hit you could run double cryo but then you either have wonky set up for cinder buff or not using cinder and have to build ton of er to burst every turn. The latter is more likely cuz you want xilonin, who can hold cinder, on your team anyway - there is technically a team fit that ideal thing for citlali and mavuika duo and that is mualani with off field mavuika. Both of them apply every 2 second and the cryo only take half the pyro which leave the other half for mualani to vape. even if only melt is trigger, citlali still shred hydro which make this pretty good - speaking of cinder, in that core you aren't really passing pyro buff cuz citlali only freeze in those team so it not really the "ideal" team for her
@@notsolong for me my biggest problem with Citlali is that I have Xilonen on most teams I want to use her, and without Scroll set, Citlali actually doesnt do very much :( but I think thats a more personal problem than Citlali's kit itself idk

@@reversal3628 Nobody cares
@@salceds But I did care for you. Here's attention you looked for.
Dehya havers are eating well, I see. . .
And the Vape-Melt doesen't work with Hu Tao, when she uses her Charged atk on a frozen enemy she triggers Shatter, not vape or melt
That assuming there no underlined aura, if you play double hydro the pyro would still vape with the hydro under the freeze aura
@@theshard5697 3 thing:
- you could make team out side of that ideal core. The latter is more likely cuz you want xilonin, who can hold cinder, on your team anyway
- there is technically a team fit that ideal thing for citlali and mavuika duo and that is mualani with off field mavuika. Both of them apply every 2 second and the cryo only take half the pyro which leave the other half for mualani to vape. even if only melt is trigger, citlali still shred hydro which make this pretty good
- speaking of cinder, in that core you aren't really passing pyro buff cuz citlali only freeze in those team so it not really the "ideal" team for her
@@notsolong for me my biggest problem with Citlali is that I have Xilonen on most teams I want to use her, and without Scroll set, Citlali actually doesnt do very much :( but I think thats a more personal problem than Citlali's kit itself idk
@@theshard5697 from my perspective her kit have a pretty clear instructions ngl. Her initial e cast didn't deal damage or apply cryo, meaning the first thing you do while in nightsoul state that apply cryo is burst which consequently have a very big em multiplier and that line up with you happened to want to trigger reaction to get scroll buff. It really cut and dry ngl
And for the citlali vs xilonin, i think citlali weaker come down to shielder having the benefits of having infinite interruption resistance thing. They're replacement of each other and not really play together
( You could run petra on citlali on team with xilonin ig, but switch the set around and getting clear rotation would totally result in better damage)

Love this video, BUT GIVE ME THE TOXIC YAOI OF ARASHI AND KAITO!!! I NEED IT NOWW 😫
They make her em scalling rather than hp , coz all of would use ttds rather than pulling for weapon 🗿
Ttds is still the best option for her. And no they made her em scaling because she is supposed to play on melt teams
@giorgostrim3709 I would use fruit of fulfillment for balancing for em and er for shield and burst uptime
