Greatest funeral doom band, hands down. Bought Angel's of distress in 2003 on a whim and fell in love with it. Ended up getting their other albums as well. Love all of them especially AoD and Monotony Fields. Beautiful music.

I have been listening to Shape od Despair's Album/CD 'Return to the Void' a lot lately. This is some of my favorite Finnish doom metal I have heard in a long time. I love it when a band like this can pull it off LIVE (i.e., maintain the same sound or even Better!) This is an awesome video/song. Brilliant!

Ankhagram's Neverending Sorrow album is almost a tribute to Shape of Despair. Remembrance's Frail Visions is awesome, their later work not that great. Check also Swallow the Sun's Songs from the North III , though they're more of a melodic Death Doom band, this album is an amazing Funeral Doom album.
My favorites sinds years. I should want to see in The Netherlands. I am just only 68 a a "" young" pensionade. Love it. But . a visiuable keyboard player would be nice. The femeale singer must Never leave. Even there are better singing lady's. (especially here in Holland) Love them so much
