Very underrated machine.
Chillin w/ my Akai Force! Love how laid back you are, some people are just way over the top.
There is so much to learn with this machine. Every day there is something new to discover.
You can also use the Sub Mixes -- Shift + Mixer. And you can nudge notes from the step sequencer. Step Seq, then Clip, then change the TC to 'Off', then put the Clip in grid mode and select the notes, tap Nudge and turn the dial. If you use a TC like 1/32 or 1/64, just tap the next pad, that's the 'on the grid' nudge.
The Force has you inspired on another level of creativity! 👍🏾
Nothing but smooth vibes! 👌👌👌
This video was absolutely useful and inspiring to me. Thank you very much for your time, my noble.
Captain Digs, Akai should hire you. A very smooth instructional video. And I can’t wait to sell my live. The Force is much more powerful & musical than any damm DAW. Because of your teachings, I just about know how to use it and I don’t even have one yet. Very inspirational👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Love how things just kept developing and evolving. Great vibe!
I’m loving this workflow. I love the jazz, gospel, neo soul, and rnb progressions they have. The only con is that you can see what chords are. I know on the Mpc you can see the name of the chords and it helps whenever I’m going to lay down a bass line and/or melody so I know it works well.
Such an inspirational piece of kit.
I like your view when recording going to CLip Screen Nice. I Took Mine out of the closet after so many frustrations with the MC 707. Both Good on their own it takes a lot to learn both. Force is most underrated Workstation on the market for a G Well Worth it . Explore new Realms of your writing you never thought were possible.
I learned a lot watching your workflow, thank you.
Great session man! Ive inspired me to use the sequencer within Ableton Push.
Love that
Don’t understand why there’s a 👎🏼of you making a beat with it-a very nice, chill one too! 🍑🍩’s! but Hey-if U do keep this beat-U should use the effect U did @11:33 that was almost a Caribbean sound-if you put it in the background of some og the other patterns I think U might like what I’m getting@-give it a try🤷🏽♂️-I was😲when I was on that 1 but you moved 2 another great effect-the beat, nice video&much❤️from Detroit!
I love my Akai Force.
Enjoying this work flow vid on my commute home. Nice one bro!
Thanks for a great demonstration,
You’ve just convinced me to by one 👍🏾
That's a really really nice tune man
Thank you
Cool! Just got thr Akai Force,
Anthony Dequese right on! I’ve had mine for almost two months now. I love it more then most things.
KatPiss TheArtist I got mine yesterday... it’s already back in the box ready to ship back
Let’s get it bro 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟👍
You really getting your hang on the Force Bro 👌! Have you already tried to do a full mixdown in the Force? Is the machine capable of doing this or will it run into CPU problems quick?
Beat sounds so smooth, nice vibe!
I haven't tried it yet but so far I had no cpu problems. Also my beats are really simple and I don't have too much going on.
Very nice how you made this Tutorial Bro. Thx alot ✌🏻🙏🏻🌈🕊🌿
Damn, this sure beats the 6-track recorder in my keyboard.
Yeh but you have a keyboard and not a bunch of squares lol ☺️. I’d much rather “play” a keyboard than learn how to play squares!!!
Dope bro
Captivating beat! Love it. Wish I could borrow a Force, see if I can get with the workflow.....MP workflow is just different
It's a bit weird, I don't love it but there are other factors very compelling about it that I like.
@@mpchead Nice one. Did you get that new beta arranger mode? That makes it Interesting for me...
Yes and it is really cool, but the workflow is not fluid yet I think. The whole update is very good
Cool
good job
Dope 🚀🪐
hello again - does force automatically give you the correct notes that fit the scale of the chord progression ? thx- sorry just heard you answer my question . Youve gotten good at it very fast . Good for you . I may get one of these
Man I really want that synth on my live. That and the mixer screen. Give me 3.0 already akai!
Hi good video. Thinking about buying one. One thing i would like to know. Are the inputs double mono or is stereo sampling possible. Thx...
Stereo sampling possible
Whats the difference between this and the mpc x ? I have the x
I'd say the X is a beast you prob don't need this, the main difference is the sequencer and chopping samples.
The mpc x allows time signatures other than 4/4. The force removed that feature for some reason
@@DocHollidayGames you have GOT to be kiddin me. I bought it recently after umming n aaaaahing for a cuppla years. I do proggie stuff, a lot of which aint in 4/4 😱
show how you play your full arrangement without touch the pads :)
I would like to know also.
next update we will have arrangers & mode song.
How to autoplay scenes?
Nic3 1n3
Dang really makes me want to play with one. How do you work around no Song Mode?
just the way I showed in the video, the grid is my arranger.
@@mpchead How are you liking the 3.05 firmware update? Does the added arranger put the Force above the MPC line?
Hello, I would like to replace my computer (Logic with Macbook from late 2013 and lot of BUGS) for a Akai Force. If I use Ableton Live, could I work in linear mode for audio and midi like with Logic Pro. Is that process use a lot of CPU and RAM of the computer because I have a MacBook from late 2013 and it bugs a lot with Logic. After playing in controller mode with Ableton Live, could I continue my song in standalone mode without Using my computer? Thanks
Does the Force have a sampler record like the MPC One ?
hi, where is the option in the force to split lounge and the key, drumsection?
You have to press two buttons at the same time, I can't remember which
@@mpchead thanks, i found it..have a nice day..
Can you guys tell me how to do it please cant find it anywhere
Could you tell me how you bounce plug ins to drum tracks please?
resample or save and upload :/
I' m watching your vids over and over again. Still stuck between getting a Force, a One or maybe the upcoming Live II... Beides the missing song mode but with the upcoming arranger Force seems to be the more complete package 🤔?!
I'd wait a little to see what the fuss about the new arranger is. It might not even work good. I am doing a new video today about this.
@@mpchead Nice! Do you upload the video on the new arranger, soon?
@@MakingMadBeats sorry I meant I'll make a video on the new Mpc and talk a bit about the differences between the Force and the mpc.
what do you think of mpc Live and Force?
I really liked the Force but somethings like the way you play a scene didn't really make much sense and how you record into a clip. The workflow was a bit convoluted at times but I hope they can make a similar product with better ergonomics and workflow.
@@mpchead Thanks
Good pratice good job , need more energy in this song and 100/100 A+, bye and thx , i need more tuto please , i like that !!! Peace man
Thanks for your vids, huge help with this adventure with the Force. I love mine. Sampling is awesome, didn’t think I’d like to sample but I got bored of my own music. I noticed a skateboard in the background sometimes, you skate? I skate.
I’m to old school to learn all that. I’ll stick with my mpc2500 mpc3000 and sp1200!
Ernie G. I’m in my 40’s I bought mine as soon as it was released.👍🏾
Digital Diezel you bought the force ?
Ernie G. I did. But I was an Ableton/MPC Studio user before the Force, so I was already into using sessions and I did not like the lack of integration with my setup. But the Force allows me to build a song with MPC features and then do other stuff in Ableton to finalize it. Sometimes I just use Ableton as a sound sound source, or effects processor. Check out my page I made something quick when I first bought it.
I hate myself for wasting my money on this awesome machine! It is just, and I will admit it, that I CAN’T learn anything, anymore. I started with the first version of 12 Tones Cakewalk and became pretty good at it. Now at 61 y/o, can’t learn a thing! I am so frustrated...I have zero retention! After watching a several videos with my hands on the Akai Force...still, nothing is sticking! 😡
You didn't build song. You made couple scenes and that's it. The reason you didn't do song is that Force still has no song mode!
DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE - it cannot record audio synced to other machines (and still can't make even one song, there is no arranger). Bought one yesterday, feeling really ripped off. What a joke Akai!
mmm
Hi, I understand that there is no arranger. My question is about the problem you mentioned on syncing with other machines. By other machines did you mean external gears MIDI synced? If that is, so was Force Clock master? Did you mean you felt the latency hence audio recording could not sync to begin with? Your answers will be very helpful...
Douglas Lee It’s not a latency question, it immediately stops recording, due to tempo changes in incoming midi, minute changes that are normal in the start. So no slave mode, only master clock sync (where the Force sends out midi clock)
