Metal Wolf Chaos XD: Mission 3: Beverly Hills (All Hostages & Energy Pods)

After completing the San Francisco mission, several more missions spawn in on the west side of the US.
I take on another Californian mission, this one taking place in Beverly Hills.
Jody codenames this mission "Bring Fashion Back to the Streets", where you have to go around the city to take down several bombs that have been planted all over the city.
Oh, and that DNN Peter MacDonald will now be flying around in a helicopter in his own to monitor Metal Wolf's mission, as he is trying to identify Micheal as the villain that Richard is trying to frame him as. You can try as much as you like to gun his copter down; it never happens, not even with Railguns.

Standalone bombs are slightly different from bombs strapped to Hostage cages. The difference is that they're violently explode no matter how you destroy them. So keep a safe distance before doing so, compared to strapped bombs that can be torn down with Light Arms WITHOUT killing the Hostages.
Going further on about that, if a standalone bomb is next to Hostages, free the hostages first and THEN blow up the bomb next to them. As soon as they're freed, they're completely invincible as they run away.
You'll also have to watch out for MOVING Bombs! These are trucks with explosives that will try to ram into you! Shoot them down from a distance because they will always explode for damage.
Another issue introduced in this stage is that there will be jamming stations that will disrupt your radar in the top-left corner. You can still pause the game to see the full map, but this could slow down your pace through the level. Seek these radar jammers out and destroy them to bring back a portion of your corner radar.
Lastly, this stage is the location of the home of a billionaire...

Try looking for Energy Pods everywhere. Some are with Hostage cages. Others in seperate boxes, namely ones with a star marked on them.
Some will be found in enemies. I found one in one of this stage's many enemy helicopters.
Even if you didn't find all of the Hostages and Energy Pods in one go, the game will keep track of what you did recover so far. Still, I wanted to try to get this all done in one go as much as possible.

After completing this mission, Jody was able to show Micheal the source of the email they got early.
The person speaking to them still didn't reveal his name, but he did reveal that he was the leader who founded the Resistance forces that aim to put an end to Richard's tyranny over America. He seems eager for Metal Wolf to collaborate with him.
