Guys like whoever this dude was - that smuggled the VHS camera into the stadium in 1989 and audaciously stood there filming the show.. for futuristic people to sit and watch on magical mobile devices - seriously do not get enough credit. (Bear in mind if they do it at a GNR show for example, they're putting themselves in danger of getting beat up by an angry singer!) Anyway .. to whoever filmed this show and all the other 80s bootleg camera guys.. on behalf of all the fans.. past, present and future.. we thank you and we salute you.
I was at this concert, pretty close to stage. Fun Day. I purchased th bootleg of Skid Row from this day. Maybe same guy who took this, I swear I saw my head in the Skid Row video. I still have it.
Omg! I remember this concert like it was yesterday. My dad and step mom surprised us by taking us there. It was our first concert and the best I’ve ever went to. I was 9 years old then and still love his music.
my mom was a die hard bon jovi fan and i was raised on his music.. she would tell me all the time about the syndicate tour.. about a month ago i found this video and i played it for her.. the minute i turned it on she said she got chills because she saw it live
I was this concert. It was Awesome!! Jon's Mother at the time was running the fan club. She did the first fan club trip and it included going to this concert. We also got to go to the soundcheck and various other places that have been mentioned in interviews. There were 600 of us from all over the world. It was a three day trip. So much fun.
Saw them for the first time on this tour.......December 1988, Glasgow, Scotland. I was 18 and wow they blew my socks off! Loved them ever since, great band. Also saw The Alarm and Bruce Springsteen that year too, quite a year, quite a start to concert life! 😊
Sad but true... 54:28-55.05 is even worse. That is why I dont understand those who say "I've been a fan for 30+ years, but I can't listen to him any more". This man deserves some respect and loyalty for all he did back in the day. And he is still trying to do his best.
OMG, I cannot believe I just found this video. I was there! I want to thank the person that recorded this because you just unlocked in my memories, one of the best days of my life. I still remember how much my best friend and I cried during I’ll be there for you.
I was just thinking an hour ago how come that I only come to watch your 1993 videos lately while I used to like 1989 the most. And then this came. Awesome, thanks for these gifts!
how has this never been released by the band? how is there no pro-shot footage? i assume Wayne Isham or MTV was there to document the gig, yes? also, what happened to the "live concerts" the band was recording during this tour? they never did get released huh
@@javtimestwo Being a fan for 30+ years, I'll never forget them for that. When they were beautiful and sounded FANTASTIC. I really hate Jon for firing Alec and for "One Wild Night Live" - the worst live album ever relased on Earth
What an epic post. Thank you very mutch @hAnD90 Bon Jovi at that time were the ultimate rock band. I saw them on San Sebastian (let´s say north of Spain) 3 december 1989, and that gig changed my all life. They even played "wild is the wind" song that I love. Great menories. Thank you soo much for sharing this concert.
Qué sonido. Espectacular!!!! Había visto ya un vídeo de este concierto pero volverlo a ver con este sonido es impresionante. Me hubiera encantado vivir esa época... sólo tenía 6 añitos... El New Jersey es mi disco favorito.
I was at Wembley arena London to see this tour as a 16 year boy, it’s brilliant to relive this, and makes me think of being young, with no care in the world. Thanks for posting, your a legend!
Do you remember which Wembley arena show you saw? One of the four in 1988 or one of the three in 1990? I have audios of two of them up here and maybe I can post your show as well ;)
Omg i just saw Bon Jovi in ft Lauderdale and let me tell ya. Eventhough, I was super excited to see Jon and the boys but his voice omg what happened. I never got a chance to c him in his prime the 80's cause my parents were so damn strict. But better late then never. To me he is a legend regardless but it was sad listening to his voice and watching this video from the past. We still love u Jon 🤩

Also, I will definitely follow you on Instagram, you and your friend. Thank you very much.
The cameras you see were either Wayne Isham filming footage for the "Access All Areas" video release or the people shooting footage for the giant video screen above the stage. The concert surely still exists in the band's vault. And thanks for the compliments, but I didn't film it. I wasn't even born when that concert happened :D
