I was really sad because she received a lot of criticisms instead of objective ones. Some people criticized her because she is Jennie and she had a supporting role in a drama labelled 21+. If they're annoyed with these scences, they simply skip over it or just ignore but sadly they don't (the producer had a warning about sexuality, nudity at the beginning at every eps). I hope in next eps, Jennie will get a good sight from public and she won't be hurted anymore!
I don't have anything against the actors but if ppl don't want to watch the show it's probably becus of the oversexualization of women and romanticized torture s3x some ppl have also gone thru SA so seeing it being made sexual could be triggering. But I dknt see need to Jennie to recieve hate

@@lugmediaclub1645 i mean choking someone like that made me uncomfortable and im not trying to be dramatic because i was in a toxic relationship where i was constantly slapped and choked i dknt want to see that be put in a sexual context. You can enjoy the show if you want to i personally won't continue to watch and would advice those with trauma to brace themselves or rather watch censored recaps

@@lugmediaclub1645 which is why I said I personally didn't want to see that i know that violence and sadistic sex is a kink for some people but such things caused me pain and left emotional and mental scars I don't want to watch that you can if you want to by all means enjoy the show. All i trying to say is respect when people say they don't want to. Its not hate towards the actors, it doesn't make the show the worst piece film it just means they don't feel the same way about the show that you do.

I think the show is decent and not as bad as people are making it out to be. There was some really good moments and even though some scenes fell flat and were unnecessary I think it was a strong premiere. I don't see why people are making such a big deal about this show and trying so hard to get it cancelled, like this is nothing new for HBO and isn't any worse in terms of being explicit compared to the other shows they put out. I'm looking forward to next week and seeing how the story progresses.
the first episode was so boring and just weird, there's like barely even a plot, the acting is not good, the story is not good, there was so many scenes of them just trying way too hard

I watched this show only because of Jennie and her 3 minutes screen time was all that matters to me. She looks so good and I couldn’t take my eyes off her everytime she was on screen.
The weeknd and Lily have no chemistry at all. I didn't feel the connection between their characters and it just doesn't make any sense that a known popstar like her would actually be drawn to him, a guy who just owns a club that wasn't even attractive and has no sex appeal at all lol. Even his acting was terrible and not convincing enough to seduce someone 😬 And it's so weird that Lily was always showing some skin while he's fully clothed. Sam obviously over sexualizing the lead actress again just like in euphoria 🙄
