Hello Billy, When I used to live in Redfern, I used to take my Piperlouise out for walks for hours on end everyday. Beaconsfield was one of the suburbs we walked through, nice to see its still pretty much the same. One thing that I did for Piperlouise was always when we did walk, I'd always take her a different way. We did all the surrounding suburbs of Redfern all the way down past Kensington, Randwick and Coggee. Too many to mention here. Its been many years now since I've been through a lot of the suburbs but its great to see how they have changed over the years. Some more then others. This is why I'm liking your content, cause I get to reminisce and also enjoy the suburbs you post that I haven't been to. Isn't Sydney just great.
Cheers cant wait for the next one.

@@craigbrown9029 hello again Craig - Redfern was a good spot to be based for walking Piperlouise as it’s so central to so many other interesting suburbs unlike some spots that are surrounded by some of the same old same old for miles.
Seems like you put in some good mileage with your walks - driving might get you places faster but you always miss out the details that you get from walking.
I’m glad these walks are bringing back some good memories for you .
      Cheers 🙂
      Stay well

@@billyeyeball7725 Thank you for those kind words Billy. I have only lived in two cities. Canberra till I was 34 and Sydney ever since. However when I lived in Canberra all I wanted to do was live in Sydney and finally got the opportunity when John Howard became prime minister and offered us public servants some packages to leave I jumped at the chance, I only had 13 years of service by then but that was enough to get me started here. So because both cities had great public transport I never got a drivers license and have either walked to my destination or got public transport.
Cheers for now. see you on the next walk.

Beaconsfield is a small neighbourhood in Sydney’s inner south about 5 kilometres from the Sydney CBD.
It is part of the Zetland /green Square district.
Beaconsfield is bordered by the neighbourhoods of Zetland , Alexandria and Rosebery.
It was named after Benjamin Disraeli , Lord Beaconsfield, a British prime minister during the reign of Queen Victoria.
The area was once part of the suburb of Alexandria and was officially gazetted on 10th June 1977.
The Green Square train station is a few minutes walk and buses run down botany road that borders the neighbourhood.
