Sometimes when God asks you to do something it will take a mile or so to be brave enough to do that. Recently a friend’s mother passed away. The funeral was at a Methodist Church. As I was ready to go in there were 4 men standing there with their masks on. I said, “do I need to where a mask because Psalms 91 says I don’t have to?” He said, “if don’t want to you don’t have to. “ so as I walked in the only two without a mask was me and the one in the casket. It was crowded and I felt like Esther going to see the king as I walked down the isle. As I walked out the man I talked to as I entered said to me, “I looked that scripture up and you were right.” I gave him an illustration of an entertainer who was going to perform and climb into a barrel and on a tight rope cross the Canal. As he was getting ready he asked the audience do you believe I can do this? They all agreed because they knew he was good. He said “ok whose going with me?” Inside that barrel is the Word (the Lord). Who is now believing him? Lots are believing the spirit of fear rather than the Word. That man said, oh my God I got it. Thank you. “ when I got in my car I felt the Lord saying when we do what He asks it could be for one person.
I've followed your music for many years. I even had the pleasure of having lunch with you in Crossett, AR where you all were singing at local church with Pastor Finney. Thank you for your faithful proclamation of the Gospel and backing it up with your strong Christian character and integrity! I pray for y'all daily.
Love this song so much and I am going to try to write down the words myself so I can sing along to the soundtrack. Thanks for your encouragement and love you all so much. You'll never know how much you all have mentored and taught me over the years I have come to know you. Take care until I see you all!
As far as I'm concerned, this whole family just oozes with integrity & decency. I saw them back around 2006, & after the concert, I gave Kim a big hug & told her just that, & she was so humbled to receive that specific complement.
We just need to slow down look around see who needs your help. You can see through their eyes they have a need. Make some one smile to meet their needs. If it be a meal or a 20$ bill and you have it give it to them. Cause God will meet your need if you listen to His Word's and help other's. God didn't put that person with that certain in front of you by accident. It was God's plan . Amen Love this song Kim.!!!!!❤️
