What differences does another few hours make. Why would I spend a months worth of pay only for a few hours of luxury? Half of which I’ll probably be asleep for bc I’m always tired from work lol
business and first class doesn't feel any more comfortable than economy except for the leg and arm space which doesn't matter because sitting or lying down for hours doesn't change that my back and neck hurts at the end of the flight. some people glorify those 'flexes' too much because they want to squeeze every last bit of spending that extra thousand bucks after finding out that it ain't worth it at all

5k?! Damn! The price increase is insane since Covid. I flew from London to Bali, connecting in HK with cathay for £450 in 2019. Now it is thousands. Thankfully I am a flight attendant, so I get staff travel which doesn’t go any higher than £300 for a return trip, however, the chances I get on are less likely these days because since Covid, everyone is travelling on their time off, and I have Way lower priority compared to people who have been in the company for 30 years 😢

Rather pay full with another airline than get left behind. Oh well, I’m going in May instead of December and hopefully better chance then! Have a great time there: it’s the best place on earth!
It’s really nice to see Korean serve that in economy. I flew with them in First Class a while back from Seoul to Los Ángeles and mid flight my nose was stuffed up but I was served the same hot spicy noodles (in a bowl) and they cleared me up fast! Korean Air is awesome!

I flew Korean Air from JFK to Seoul and it was by far the best flight I’ve ever been on! I saw the person in front of me get the noodles and I asked for one too and I’m sure the flight attendant laughed at my kid like excitement at getting noodles 😁
Love love Korean Airlines I’m flying with them again on January for a 18-20 hour flight! The seats are very spacious, fantastic food, and very polite and attentive flight attendants 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

I love you for doing this. I've been to 18 countries and Korean Air still tops best airplane food for me (all flights through economy class). Also, the fact that you were also middle seat? I like this content more than the business and first class.
I've only ridden Korean Air once and was lucky enough to get an upgrade to first class. Imo, they have the best in-flight service and food as well. ANA is another airline that comes close to Korean Air

I'm dutch and I also always eat instant noodles when I have a flight (which isn't often). I think it has something to do with the altitude changing the way things change, but it always just hits different. Plus KLM has a brand that I don't normally buy (Unox).
Once I was on a Singapore airline and I was really craving cup noodles. My mom asked for one and luckily and somehow they had a whole box. It was so flavorful like Asian airlines are so😩💅🏻🤚
As an ex air stewardess for an Asian airline, we always hated the cup noodles order hahaha because once somebody orders it, the smell wafts through the enclosed cabin and now everyone wants one, as you know cup noodles take time to prepare individually as compared to us getting you a sandwich and during this lull period the staff is half (as we take turns to rest on a long flight) so there would be just 2 of us in the galley usually😅
fr on my korean air flight to canada the food they gave me was so good i was surprised LOL (minus me laughing my ass off before takeoff because of their safety video)

I'm flying Boston to Incheon, 16 hours in economy because upgrading also would've been a $5k ticket. Thankfully my following flight to Chiang Mai is only 6 hours.
I had a flight from Chicago to Abu Dhabi witch was 14 hours then I had a flight to Mumbai and it was another 2 hours and now I’m going back home today and I have to fly back that way 😭😭
