Have the same issue. Looking for a fix. Only 1,813h on the projector and it's not watchable. LG claims the lamps have 20,000h of life. But after this experience - I have reason to don't their claims. If anyone comes up with a fix, please share. Seems like a huge waste to just throw it out.

My projector is like yours unfortunately. Less than 1000h use and the repair may not work properly. If not, they need to change the PCB which will cost half the price of a new projector. PS.: My projector went to maintenance 2x since I bought it.

I sent mine in a total of 6 times and they kept sending it back "fixed" for like a month then the same issue would occur.

Bad idea. My projector's lense went pink after 18 months of use while the bulb still working and the replacement of lense is very expensive!

Did you ever find a fix for your projector? I have an "Epson Power Lite Home Cinema 2030" that I purchase about 5 or 6 years ago. My projector doesn't get a lot of use as I use for watching movies maybe once a week. I noticed when I powered it on I was having the exact problem as yours. I shut it off and then back on, and everything was normal. I'm just wondering if I should send it in for repairs or get a new projector.

I never found a fix. After the 7th or 8th time I sent it in the replaced it because they were obligated to.

I manage to figure out to this same problem of mine. If you guys can manage to dismantle your projector and check the lenses if its burned or deformed. Trying to find some replacement part over the internet if there is.

Hello did u manage to find the lens? I have the same issue. I found that one of the lens is burnt. Looking for a replacement lens. LED seems to be fine.

Nah, I tried everything AFIK with no luck. But I found out that the lens is not for sale only the whole mechanism for projector(the inside part). Try to research that part and see if they sell it online.

Same with my Epson EH-TW9200 after removing ribbon cable connectors and spraying the inside with compressed air. Anyone found solution for this problem so far? Nothing is burnt in projector, thats for sure

I would buy from a different company. LG has been absolutely horrible to deal with. They have no clue what customer service is. Their repair center is terrible with people who aren't there to help you.

I have sent mine into LG 3 times now and they keep "repairing" it and sending it back only for it to happen again.
