How are those thin wires handling all that current? I get the wires are hot! Nice lamp and video, though.

They're not even warm. But this is a temporary set-up, for showcase, I'm not using HID lamps like this all the time.

By seeing the ANSI code on the lamp’s packaging, it is certainly a telltale sign that it was originally produced for the North American market to be sold in countries such as the USA, Canada, Mexico, and possibly some Central American countries.
I wonder how this North American GE pulse start metal halide lamp ended up in your country. Did you import it from an eBay seller who lives in a North American country or did you somehow find it in your home country by random chance?
In North America, we often use the ANSI code system to help make it easier to match HID lamps with the ballasts that they are designed for. In the case with this 150W pulse start metal halide lamp, it does mention that it has an ANSI code with “M102” written on it, which means that the best ballast for this lamp should have the “M102” ANSI code written on it.
On an interesting note, North American lamps with the base that resembles the European E27 base technically have the “E26” designation while North American lamps with the base resembling the European E40 base technically have the “E39” designation.
Even if the E26 and E27 base lamps have slightly different designations, they should be more or less interchangeable with each other. The same also applies to E39 and E40 base lamps. However, E39 base lamps might be a very tight fit in some E40 base lampholders and may possibly get stuck in those lampholders and possibly get destroyed if you try to unscrew them. On a good note, E40 base lamps can fit nicely in E39 base lampholders, but the base may stick out just a little bit.

Wow, that's a lot of information. I got this bulb from a selling on-line platform in my country (OLX). I have no ideea from where the seller got this lamp and another one, because he got two. Here's a link to the announcement: m.olx.ro/d/oferta/bec-multivapori-ge-lighting-mxr150-u-med-22935-150w-IDi9Udv.html?reason=hp%7Crecent

@@hpsnerd-ow6rcThis lamp certainly is a good addition to your collection because whenever you try to import foreign lamps to your country, it is often expensive to do so and in many cases, sellers would not be able to ship to your country.
