A high quality "coatigan", a long heavy cardigan that doubles as a coat is a must have for me. Something with cables or a bit of texture is my favorite.
I live in s. CA and I'm spending Christmas in Arizona, but I still love all these styles and how you presented them Leonie. (I love the room you're filming in !wow)
My timeless winter piece is Max Mara cashmere maxi coat 🧥I bought it maybe 15 years ago and every year I wear it few times. It is still in perfect condition and very stylish.
Totally agree about older women fashion books, documentaries---many are shown as "eccentric", but I have no desire to look kooky! How about being older, classy and cool!!
I think personally the older dressing eccentric style is more a freedom to be free and do what you want and not worry about others. Age should have no restriction on expression
True and stylish, eccentric looks have more of a genuine “cool” look rather than kooky. After a certain age many women finally feel confident, and free to dress as they like and feel, and could care less about what anyone thinks, so many styles go, weather classy, trendy, vintage, or a mix of these. Have fun ladies, and dress as your heart desires😊👛👗👢
Thanks can’t wait to get a new maxi coat, mine are quite fitted. Will you please show us your outfits from head to shoe? I can’t see your shoes during the video.
That tweed maxi coat is absolutely gorgeous and classic. In the 80s I would try to get that look by thrifting oversized mens coats. The look is still relevant all these decades later. 😍❤️
Found a men’s one last year, could not decide how to wear and style it, and then now I’m decorating all over with crystals and pearls to make it feminine, and I can’t wait to finish… will be such a fun piece.. maybe not for many years, but then I can take the embellishments off again… and always yes for the capes.. the drama is always there right away. 😊❤
Thank you I'm absolutely in love with it. I've also thrifted similar men's coats but I tend to find them very heavy. I love this one as it's relatively light weight too. x
Merci💖 Vos analyses sont pointues, les looks très tendances et parfaites pour tous les jours à la fois, avec une touche d'élégance. And my gosh, you look so so young🌺✨ Thousands of thanks from France
Yep, maxi coat definitely 😊. I am 5.9 and slim, so it looks great. I got a light beige one from Jaeger and it's an absolute staple for me. It looks great with anything and it's so warm. Like stepping out wrapped in a duvet 😂
I ❤ sweatshirts with kangaroo pockets! My hands get cold during the winter. Plus, I’m neurodivergent. Pockets can hold fidgets. Also, turtleneck tops make great layering pieces for me, whether under a dress, vest, v-neck top… it doesn’t matter.
Leonie, I love all of your pieces. Unfortunately, we don't have such variety in vancouver bc canada 😢 I assume that you were a model due to the fact that everything looks fantastic on you 😊
Leoni, I love your video. Can you tell me which brand and style is the white shoe that you were wearing at the beginning of the video? I love how you pair it with different outfits.
Hello Leonie, I bought Mousy jeans, they are made in Japan. They are the most fabulous, perfect jeans. I bought them in my friends store, GIRLBOY, in Kingston, NY
It's interesting. I tend to think if you opt for the middle ground e.g. a slight flare, a not too wide leg, they will still eventually date and look a bit meh. Whereas I think if you go for a real statement piece, really wide flare, really wide leg etc. Then they will always be a statement piece and even if they go out of fashion, they will look ok as they will obviously be intentional rather than just not quite right.
I was wondering what the trends, and personal stylist are saying about "vintage" fur. I can't see adding it to another landfill, or just keeping them in cold storage. I have my mother's long sable coat, and Persian lamb car jacket. I did see a fashion clip of Fendi doing a show that showcased their old classic furs. I've never been a big wearer of fur, but they are so beautiful, keep you warm and the poor animal is long gone, with no future animals being hurt. Thanks.
Ah i keep saying to myself, this will be the year, when I invest in nice trench-coat and coat , but it never happens😳🤪😝😂 get distracted with dresses … lol but here in SF still 70’s and 80’s so who can blame me😜 even when gets lo cooler, everyone , mostly tourists and winter birds here, still wear summer clothes😂 no fashion 😂😂😂 love all denim styling . And that mesh top, I just found similar on eBay from the row it’s little heavier semi sheer knit, and it’s oversized, but flows so nicely and long like mini dress. I will style with sheer dress and also perfect with fringe skirt. It’s just what I was looking for , to recreate/ dupe Old Celine dress it’s knit with fringe skirt. Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I'm from SF as well and hardly ever wear my black trench. I did, however, wear it to Europe last spring and it came in very handy. It did not feel pretentious like it does in The City. In Amsterdam I fit right in and someone even addressed me in German, like I was a native.
I wonder that you are in the summer of New Zealand showing winter trends... istn't that hard for you? Also showing all that winter peaces when it's hot outside...
Sorry about that I often get asked to wear pieces in my vid so thought I could showcase some new favourites that worked in well with the theme of the video. Oh well 😫
I don’t see the « barn coat » to last long… very trendy, doesn’t fit in most of city or urban living, totally no shape, so not flattering for most…. So unless you have a style with similar utility or outdoor pieces in your style, then it will only be a trend this winter - instead of the shackets… May they rest in peace… ❤
We need a glasses and accessories guide for 2025!
Oooh that's a great idea - watch this space x
The maxi coat, grey color is awesome 👌🏽
A high quality "coatigan", a long heavy cardigan that doubles as a coat is a must have for me. Something with cables or a bit of texture is my favorite.
I have a long , loose one in grey and I’m telling you it’s the one piece I’ve worn most
A good maxi coat is definitely timeless!
It really is! 😊
Hi Leonie,
In Canada it's winter right now and everything is covered by coats and snow boots.
You hit the right nail with this video ❤
Perfect!🤩
I live in s. CA and I'm spending Christmas in Arizona, but I still love all these styles and how you presented them Leonie. (I love the room you're filming in !wow)
@jane...I agree this room is glorious!!!💖
My timeless winter piece is Max Mara cashmere maxi coat 🧥I bought it maybe 15 years ago and every year I wear it few times. It is still in perfect condition and very stylish.
I wear my two Max Mara coats each winter, and if I don’t, then my teen daughter steals it.. my black one is almost hers by now 😊😅
Thanks for sharing!! You coat sounds amazing!
The short trench looks sooo good. And I love the cuff detail on that maxi coat.
I love it! Esp for the water resistant aspect. It always rains in New Zealand so this makes it especially useful x
I live in a cold weather state. I have thrifted several maxi coats. My favorite is a Cole Hahn powder blue wrap coat with wide lapel/collar- classy
Sounds great! 😊
Its summer in Australia, it would be great to see summer fashion trends
Lmao summer 😂 im jealous
Well, her audience is mainly in the northern hemisphere so we have winter trends now
I love the denim on denim especially the dark blue wash it gives a clean crisp look
Yeah, two months ago I said I need to find a really nice maxi coat, not midi maxi. I love it I think it makes you look polished .
This was fun to watch!
I love Dakota Jacket! Great option 🩶
Thank you I love it too ❤

Yes exactly!

You can’t? Sorry about that I thought they were visible in a few of the shots 😊
Your videos are really interesting and touching. [10:44] I have a feeling the Christmas season is very near. Have fun everyone🎉🎈
Yes denim always👍, everyone wear denim. Best wishes to all thank you 💐
Hi Leone, could you do a video about layering for colder months, autumn and winter?
Wonderful pieces from Fabrique ❤❤ thank you Leonie
Glad you think so Barb - thanks for watching x
Loved your Margot maxi coat! Don't forget to snip open the back vent😊✌🏾🙏🏾
Oh yes thank you for the reminder I will 🙏🏼
I like this haul, it's not too bulky and some of us live places that only drop below 50 for a month or 2.
Thanks Angela and yes the pieces are definitely not too bulky! x
gorgeous maxi coat and bomber, lve them both. I loved the jacket with detachable collar. So beautiful.
Thanks I’ll have these pieces for years 🙏
those capes are a great idea

These all look good on you! I can't do most of them as I'm short. Great video 🎉
Thank you Denise x

Love! Could you link the vest you’re wearing? It is the best!
Oh! Found it, thanks
I have a camel colour wool coat from Braemar that my mom gave me. It’s about 30 years old and a traditional style so it always looks good.
I love that little red bag , who makes that?
I ❤ sweatshirts with kangaroo pockets!
My hands get cold during the winter. Plus, I’m neurodivergent. Pockets can hold fidgets.

Oh no! And I just picked these pieces and wanted to show everyone what I ordered but thank you for your kind words 😊
Summer in New Zealand 😂 Yes Us islands down under please x
Sorry what do you mean? 🤷🏻♀️
Leoni, I love your video. Can you tell me which brand and style is the white shoe that you were wearing at the beginning of the video? I love how you pair it with different outfits.

Great Choices. Bravo !
Thanks for watching x

I must check them out - thanks for sharing x
I love ❤ this video, the pieces you showed. Thank you 🎉
You are so welcome!
Is that a tub in your living room 🤔
Yes it's a tub and no it's not my living room. It's a studio space that I film in from time to time to mix things up a little x
it’s giving New York studio 😅
@@Sandakan00I suppose it is actually. I wish I was in New York 😂
What are you thoughts about so many trench coats being unlined?
Very good video❤❤❤😊
Thank you 🤗

Hi leonie... Thank you for lovely informative videos, What do you think about scarf worn over cap trend?
Ugh. I live in a hot, tropical environment, and never get to wear winter coats😫
Great points.
Thanks for watching x
I have a coat similar to that one that I bought years ago, second hand. I have a cape that I bought years ago in the sale.
I’m the caped crusader! boom 💥! Kapow !! Wink 😉 wink 😉!! lol 😂 - hugs 🤗, Amy
Love it!!

My question is: how do you make them ship to New Zealand?
Please show sweaters
Ok will do x

Any tips for looser fitting jeans on a petite frame? Don’t want to look like Cookie Monster is trying to eat me…but tired of skinny jeans 🤷♀️
Why is there a bathtub in the living room?
Was just wondering the same thing 😂
❤❤❤❤
I wonder that you are in the summer of New Zealand showing winter trends... istn't that hard for you? Also showing all that winter peaces when it's hot outside...
No it’s actually been really cold here lately sadly 😢
