You have such a gorgeous soft voice you explain it so well that I wasn't intimidated to try it out I love the flower your bare foot sandal looks gorgeous thank you for the tutorial
I like that it's clear, and that it can go with any colour. Also it's really strong and the sandals last way longer that if you use thread or something. I needed a thicker thread for a project and didn't have anything, my dad suggested I use his fishing line...been hook ever since :)
very nice tutorial and beautiful Barefoot Sandal. I wont mind gettin some of those flowers or something similar to it that has holes like it, but i find Micheal's to be on the pricy side though.
I use the clear stretch magic cord in 0.5mm or 0.8 depending on the size of the bead hole or the design i'm doing. I find when I am doing other projects with the fishing line is that is if it gets bent or something it stands bent, but i think it may vary on the thickness of the fishing line. But i will certainly try the finer fishing line i have.
I find it interesting that you use fishing line, I always use stretch cord and just tie the ends instead of using a clasp, but since i have loads of fishing line I would try it.
I love this. This is the first time I see this and I love it. Deffenetly I going to try it. I live in Puerto Rico and I think they will like to were something like this. can you tell me what size of fishing line did you used. Thank you so much for sharing this video, I will tell my friends about it.
Thanks for the tutorial. Very beautiful. I always worry about jewelry tarnishing, have you seen a problem with this? I'm new to jewelry making and overly cautious.
This is the first I've tried sandals with this kind of embellishment so I'm not sure. I do know however that some beads will loose their color when wet!! I bought these gorgeous pink beads with silver lining, they turned gray after they got wet.
I live in Barbados (in the Caribbean) so there is no Micheal's and to order online and pay for shipping is still to much even of I get the products on sale. There are a few, really few craft stores on the island so you don't always get stuff you need, so u have to improvise.
does anyone know where i can get shell beads at i tried michaels jo-anns fabric and no luck there i want the really small cinch shell type beads i saw a barefoot sandle made from them looked really cute.
I edited it out to shorten the video. I don't do any fancy knot. You can tie it off how ever you prefer. If you really want to see how I do it, you can look at a couple of my other barefoot sandal videos and just skip the the end where I tie off to see what I do. :)
Es un trabajo lindo.Gracias x compartir
Thank you. I’m going to make the small circles tonight

I totally agree. I usually wait for a sale or use the 50% coupons
Gracias thank you excelent the way u explain
Beautiful! I am going to make one!
I use 2-5 pound weight fishing line. Just make sure the fishing line can comfortably pass through your beads at 3 times.
I made one...It came out great, just a little too big but I still love it!!

Thank you for your advise. I did the gecko and it was really easy and fun. I show it to my grandaughter and she one to do one too. She is only 10.
