@@47SK29 Thank you for mentioning that for spreading was a HUGE part of the triangle. That type of spreading was systematic, and the main reason the bulls win 6 championships. But spacing in the last 10 years is not a result of a system. It is a result of the prevalence of the 3pt shot. And not just the 3 point shot, the rise of EVERY position being able to shoot mid range and 3s. In years past, the game was played from inside- out and the only "space" available was mid range and the 3. Players did not have the skillset to shoot past 16 feet (im leaving out the fact that they moved the 3pt line closer, in the 90s).

Great vid. A lot of people forget, bron played Rose in the playoffs the year before this as well, and did a decent job guarding him whenever he switched on. I’m not sure about the entire series, but I remember him holding d rose to 1/4 or 1/5 in the 4th qtr of game 3 in 2010. Bron’s lateral speed was never the best but his ability to recover and contest/block was impressive, he was better at guarding quicker guys who you could go underneath screens on, as opposed to a Kyrie or a dame who you would have to chase over instead of dropping under
