I have to be honest. I mean this in a non-judgemental way but a lot of content creation is designed to derail and distract a community. The work that is fruitful and pleasing to God is not ratchet. Systematic racism is so prevalent in our community because these corporations and brands that pay influencers have an agenda... Nit only to make money off of your back and your following but they also have a goal to keep the mindset of a community distracted from the truth and the way of God. All of these BBL's, wigs, ridiculous eyelashes are a result of insecurity and not knowing your true identity, beauty and power as a black woman. These companies are invested in creating false narratives and using the black content creators to push their agenda. It's sad. I wish we would see behind the agenda and stop idolizing celebrities and content creators. And as content creators, I pray that money becomes less of a motivator and God's true purpose can be the guiding force in your life so that your influence can be used for good.
