    Hi. Is first week of Jan a good time to visit?? Or is it gonna be extremely hot and humid?

    • @hitchedtohike
      @hitchedtohike  3 месяца назад

      It depends on where you want to go. South Australia would be perfect . The east coast would be humid .

    @hitched to hike, do we need IDP to rent a car and self drive in australia?

    • @hitchedtohike
      @hitchedtohike  4 месяца назад

      Hi, an Indian driving licence worked for us. You will need to show the rental car company your original license. IDP is not compulsory

    Is June is good for visiting there??

    • @hitchedtohike
      @hitchedtohike  11 часов назад

      Hi, June is the winter season there. If you want to enjoy getting into the water, would suggest planning in the summer months of late Oct to early Feb. However, ski resorts in New South Wales and Victoria, near Melbourne are great for for winter sports activities. Tasmania is also a good winter destination. Hope this helps :)

      @@hitchedtohike Thank you very much for suggesting…..I’ll go cairns, Sydney and Melbourne…..Just correct me if I’m wrong….. cairns weather will be absolutely great in June, Sydney’s will be normal like autumn and Melbourne cold?

      Hello! What all cities would you be traveling to? Sydney has good vegetarian options. So does Cairns and Whitsundays. We too are vegetarians and didn't find it tough to find veg food and you have Subway outlets everywhere

    Hi there!! How was your experience with Apex car rental? Had they asked for IDP along with DL(English)?

    • @hitchedtohike
      @hitchedtohike  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Indian DL should do! No need of IDP. Sorry for the late revert. Not sure if this is still helpful.
