Your absolutely right mam , last week I had my sinusitis surgery in Manipal hospital Vijayawada. I saw one kid in operation theatre he's not cooperating surgeon's, they immediately called he's mom, after that he was clam 😅😂😅 finally he slept 🙂

No it's not Ok for a mother to stay inside. She would not able to see her child in such a condition. And might start crying there. Doctors handle the situation in a very good way.

Having an experience in dealing with children as I teach them .... the best way to make the kindergarten kids learn Pt do homework is by increasing twhir curiosity. When you develop curiosity the patient would really wanna know what's the next step. I learned this from my surgeon when I was put under GA so i apply it I'm school setting and it works so well

There are ppl who beat doctors after some ones died, they should face this situation once in there life then only they will got to know what doctor is , thank you doctors bcoz of you all we are fit and fine in our home 🙏🏻💐😊✨🧡
Operating rooms should have a designated "Comforter," someone who is not part of the operating team and is there just to distract you from what's going on, to hold your hand and to soothe in a soft calming voice you while you undergo anesthesia. Especially for children but for some adults too. I remember feeling alone and scared when I went in for my surgery and although the surgeons were very polite and nice, they had their job to do and were not too bothered about the tears rolling down my eyes. This child is evidently scared and the adult sounding voices of the attending medical people must be adding to his fright.
May God almighty give them strength and bless them abundantly......

I had surgery at 4 years old found the hospital a big undertaking remember getting wheeled to theatre but cant remember the gas thankfully tho when dentist found gas mask smelly and gas very heavy over powering gas but great experience mask kept on

How about induction with sevoflurane instead of this propofol.

I request Dr. Richardson to allow the parents of all children below the age of 13/15 yrs to let them stay at the OT during the child undergoing anesthesia. The seemless fright and tears of pts make healing difficult post surgery, as per my knowledge. Parents can extend a supportive hand to their children during this time which can make surgery safer.

I always tell my Niece's, and Nephew's, that they will be given magic milk to make them sleep, and magic juice to wake up from surgery!! The magic milk will let them dream, and when they are done, the doctors, or nurse will give them magic juice to wake from there dream.
