A good friend of mine who came to Canada told me about his neighbor while still living in the Fens area, who had a Panther 600 single. Claimed that about 100 kilometres an hour, the bike only seemed to fire once between telephone poles. Could be that it seemed that way, but I’ve never seen or heard one myself. My dad’s first bike was a BSA 125, in 1950 , then a 39 knucklehead that he sold for a 52 Indian Chief just before Indian closed up. Dad was a biker and got me started at 5 years old in 1967 on a Honda mini trail 50 . Been riding ever since, motocross in the 70s , several Japan brands , a few British, but now on my 20 year old Harley . Worked 5 years at a Yamaha/Kawasaki shop as a mechanic, which was a dream job for me in my early 20s, unlimited use of every used bike on the lot, and I had to test ride every bike I took out of the crate.
I’m glad you guys did a Twizzel memorial trophy. He deserved it. Let me guess the trophy was the weirdest pice of art ever made from metal bits.😮 ….. Aaaaah I guessed correctly.
Great video nice bikes and cars

Many great choppers at the show, but one of my favourites is the neat triumph bobber riding down to the show.
