Years later, Courtney ran away to San Francisco, changed her name, identity and record. She later got a job at a news company and have 2 sisters who are witches.
If we think about it, the others are accomplices and that is a crime and they lied to the police about not knowing anything, it could have been a more cruel ending see Julie, Fern and Marcie getting arrested too
Well you also gotta remember that Julie and Fern were basically blackmailed. Courtney said that she'd tell the police that Julie did it if she said anything and I think Fern was kinda afraid that Courtney would kill her too. Marcie DEFINITELY should be arrested with Courtney cuz she wasn't threatened at all and basically had no guilt days after. She was like a henchman.
Not really they could testify that they were threatened by Courtney I mean there are multiple incidents that support that so many times Courtney threatens both Julie and Fern and the fact that they exposed her and helped the police they would get pardoned probably so they probably wouldn’t get any jail time especially if they testify but Courtney and Marcie would definitely be going to jail and prison Courtney would go to prison because she actually put the jawbreaker in her mouth with intent to harm Liz and Marcie would actually go to jail because she helped staged the body and helped blackmail and threaten both Julie and Fern so I think both Julie and Fern will be fine cause they are gonna testify and helped the police Courtney and Marcie however definitely going to prison
Courtney ruled the school the same way she ruled her posse, through terror and intimidation. Unlike Marcie, Julie and Fern could rightly claim Courtney threatened and bullied them into complicity until Julie's conscience got the better of her. Also, by dint of Julie and Fern being the only reason justice was finally done, whatever punishment is coming their way is going to be very, very light in comparison to what Courtney and Marcie are going to get. And yes, Marcie IS going to go down in flames for this, too. Courtney is not going to be noble and bear the full weight of the crime all by herself if she doesn't have to. Misery does love company, after all. Marcie is going to burn along with her mistress.

@@holdenmenard1312 Doesn't matter, they were involved with the plan before they realize the plan killed her. I know they didn't mean to kill her but under the law, they're all responsible for her death.
What do you think happened after? Courtney had her downfall here but she wasn't gonna go down without a fight. Her defense attorney would've dragged Julie, Marcy, & Fern and put blame on them. Julie & Fern probably would've gotten immunity for testifying against Courtney but Marcy possibly would've gotten some prison time.
