    The panfish fishing you guys in the south have is amazing. Pennsylvania has some good fishing but nothing like ive experienced in the south.

      We are blessed for sure but a lot of work goes into finding the beds. We just have a short window for the spawn. Good luck my friend 🎣💪

    What depth do you find most of the beds?

    • @TRNoutdoors
      @TRNoutdoors  8 месяцев назад

      Usually 3’ or less. The bottom has more to do with it than depth, hard bottoms are best with small rocks and sand.

      Set up is a simple slip cork, 6lb big game line, #4 gold hook, homemade plastic cricket on some catches and night crawlers on the others. The depth is dependent on the fish. I usually catch the bigger males when spawning with hook almost on bottom. Good luck !!🎣💪

    I have had trouble finding them on Clarks Hill. Taking off Next Thursday and Friday for the full moon as well. How far up the Lake were you? Next Friday me and a buddy are gonna hit Deep Step in the river and hopefully get on some Bluegills and Shellcrackers! Great Video! I subscribed.

      I fish upper end of lake because it’s close to home. I usually find them at night while bow fishing, the lights make the beds easy to spot. Thanks for the like🎣💪

      Great tip. I was wondering how you thinned down 70k acres of shoreline 😂

    Use Cicadas for bait. Darn I wish I still had my boat. I got too old to fish alone and couldn't find anyone as a fishing partner.

      You are never to old to fish!! You can always go off bank just to be on safe side. I bet the cicadas would work well. Thanks for the view🎣💪
